A world boss should be “Fly to X, sign up to kill with UI” like all world bosses before.
For the Val and Naigtal world bosses, you have to go to the portal, opt into Heroic tier, run past elites on foot to the other end of the zone, enter a portal, find the world boss, then manually make a group.
Far too many layers of “Never mind I give up” for the average player that is doing casual content.
What I did yesterday was - you have to go with the flow with other players.
Basically you have wait for more players to show up - keep doing world quests around.
Once you are all doing the world quests, elites keep spawning, rares spawn and slowly you all move into the boss room.
It was pretty fun as we were just melting everything. It is not fun if you are doing your own thing and the herd is serging somewhere else.
Did it once. Why would I wanna do it again?
People tired of boring repeat stuff.
Meh… got my mythic quest reward now… IDC.
It’s almost like it’s supposed to be challenging or something.
If there is no group, make one.
Depends on the time of day you get on, but also most ppl got thier “lightsaber” mog and moved on lol 
Yes but players like me who are returning. These zones are really good for a catch up ilevel.
Joined a group yesterday that explicitly said it was normal mode and it turned out the whole group was all sitting in heroic. I just noped out. Just as I was about to leave, a small Horde party rushed into the room and attacked the boss, so I just joined in. All’s well that ends well?
To me there was a world quest and it gave me the green icon to join a group and there were a couple groups on heroic. Probably easier to do it earlier in the week.
This is a real problem that Blizzard refuses to fix. Only time I joined a Normal group for an Elite in premade, 75% of people who joined were in Heroic which meant they couldnt contribute and nobody could join in Normal because the group filled up. It doesnt matter if the group creator puts NORMAL in big friendly letters, people still join on Heroic because…I dunno, can’t read?
And the comments from so many here are “well, why would you do Normal” which is frankly stupid. a. Not everyone is up to doing Heroic on alts because of levels, gear or uncertainly playing on a potentially new class alt and b. why should they have to if they are just levelling and want to join a Normal group?
But Blizzard just doesn’t care is the real answer. They provide a system to be able to form groups for something and then don’t do a small amount of extra work to make sure the grouping works properly.
It is like every other world boss. Show up, wait for a large group to congregate, tag it as a solo player and reap the rewards
I run down there on many chracters. Worst case is you gotta fight the elite right after portal or solo 1 mob. If you can’t handle that join the group first and most likely others have cleared or will help clear path or like most these dudes train 4 or 5 mobs onto us already fighting the boss
It’s not a challenge. It’s an annoyance. There’s a rather large difference.
Im more annoyed there was no catch up, my nain missed last week as i did alt stuff and she still needs an item.
How can anyone complain about this? If you know the zone at all, you know the “squeeze-by” routes by now, getting into the cave is easy. Once there, you can either wait and pass, or kill one by one to get there.
I got there and just did a search for the MoB name in midnight raids, and there is always like 2 - 4 groups activly forming. I did this with all 4 pieces.
I am so grateful they even offered this, (what I consider absurdly easy) quest because it’s the only way a casual player like me will ever see a mythic piece, aside from spending $1M and your first-born child on a mythic piece from the AH.
The fight is easy with the group and raid tool, and I usually entered fight with MoB 1/2 dead.
Not sure how much easier Blizz coulda made it to virtually hand you a mythic piece for primarily just waiting 4 weeks through a time gate.
And, BTW, I only ever did the 2 zones on Heroic. I didn’t even have champion gear when I entered, and now I’m decked out in Heroic, and 1 mythic. I’m extremely happy with the set ups. Wish they would give more quests to aquire upper gear for those of us who have been soured on the LFG scene. I’m more than willing to do a wild quest solo to get upper gear.

Because devs don’t know how to make open world content challenging, so they just make it tedious instead.

Group difficulty is set automatically. Dopes sign up without reading, the original lister finishes what they were doing and leaves, lead passes to someone who was sitting in the wrong mode and they leave it up without editing.
Same sort of thing happens in warmode.
