TBC, Legion, and BFA were the only expansions with a 4th season/tier. Majority of all past expasions only had 3 tiers and a couple final seasons have had 1 year birthdays prior to us getting new content.
Looking back historically, looking back at what we have had, looking at how past last tiers/seasons was handled, seeing what Blizz does, Fated is fun conpared to nothing at all.
Look at the timeline Blizz gave us, the last season will be shorter as well. Why make a full new raid tier for a shorter season?
Looking forward to play with some crazy trinket combos
finally you make sense yes they are giving less content as seen in the graphic… best thing they can do is completely scrap the fated raid idea and release a new raid season 4. if there’s not enough content to make a s4 raid then they need to roll out a new expansion. but mythic plus raiding is a L.
Why do you think there’s a content lull? Because they’re rolling out a new expansion. There’s no new raid because the devs are finalizing the new expansion. It’s crunch time.
Nobody can argue we’re not getting more content, but not all players will call time rifts, dream surges, and azerothian archives “engaging content” and most of it does nothing for the raid/M+ crowd.
So yes we’re getting more, but they seem to be putting in less development. The AFK problem with the archives is a sign they didn’t put much thought into it, and basically rehashed the original Feast event with its original problems.
the solution is to end the expansion when there is no new content and drop a new one… but that requires blizzard to do more work and to stop farming the subs
or if there is content to warrant a 4th season meaning new raid do that.
The complaints go back and forth. If there is less world content and more dungeons and raids players complaint Blizzard only cares about that content and doesn’t support its casual playebase.
They do the opposite and the opposite side complains.
Because it is better than nothing, and Fated raids were fun during SL.
Plenty of people do.
Plenty of people do play Classic.
Most certainly not.
They aren’t being lazy, they are working on more content in the future. Being lazy implies they are doing nothing.
Yep, and then they realized they could work smarter rather than harder. Still doesn’t make them lazy though, and Fated raids are enjoyable, and if it equates to more regularly getting properly fleshed out expansions like DF then that’s a good trade-off for having one fewer raid tier that most folks would consider forgettable.
Because people liked it during SL.
… they are working on the game regardless of whether it is from home or not. Most folks work better from home.
They are.
They used to also think that being able to be permanently stun-locked was completely fine. Or that folks were happy with getting interrupted by random quest mobs. Folks get smarter, even if you don’t.
They’ll probably keep doing them as long as they are popular.
Just because you find your own projected ideas insulting, doesn’t mean anyone else is as delusional as you.
Pretty sure the only one asleep here is you, mate.
That’s a PvP thing, WoW hasn’t ever really been good on PvP. They are improving things come next expansion though, apparently.
Oooooooooh… you were talking about consoles… yeah no mate, folks can already play WoW with a controller even if you don’t know how to Google things like that.
So would you rather season 3 just last until the expansion is ready and get even less than what a fated season would be? Because that’s what you’d have to want. Because developing another raid would mean delaying the expansion. You’re free to unsub until the expansion. Season 4 is a victory lap.
