No new mount collection achieve?

So with the new expansion, is there really no expansion of the mount achievement? I have so many …

Haven’t seen this mentioned on Wowhead yet.

I haven’t seen any mention of a new mount achievement either. I was really disappointed with this as well. You have so many achievements for 500 and under, but nothing since.

Drat, I was hoping I just missed it somewhere :frowning: Was really looking forward to that, especially after the mountfest that was panda remix.

do they normally release those achievements during pre patch? i thought the 500 one was at df launch, or am I just misremembering that?

why? you really want another recolor cloud serp mount? or some other re-color mount of a mount we got already?

I love my otter, actually lol

I’m a mount collector, it’s disappointing to not have new mount achievements to strive for every expansion.

Many of the achievements in the game need serious updating. The mounts should go up almost as high as the max in-game currently (looks like there are now over 1000 mounts in the game, so I would like to see achievements go up to 800 at least), and I too was very disappointed to see no updates for TWW yet–particularly after the disappointment of DF’s mount achievement that still did not go near high enough for the more serious mount collectors. The same should go with all the collectible achievements and profession achievements, which also need to go much higher for crafting.

Achievements shouldn’t primarily be so low that most anyone can get them. What is the fun in that? It is an achievement, and it should feel like you actually put in work to earn it. It’s fine to have all the lower achievements that lead up to the much higher ones (within reason), so people feel good about their progression, but they need to actually reach much higher levels for the higher-achievers and people who have played for a long time. It should also feel like it reflects the work that the minority, who love that particular part of wow, put into it, like mount farmers with 800+ mounts or even people running the highest mythic keys 25+: where is their achievement for kicking a**?

I know there are people who just want to have it all, so some of them also want it easy enough they are willing to get it, but I’m not sure that is what we should be teaching people. It’s okay to have some things in WoW you never get because maybe you aren’t skilled enough in that particular area, or maybe you just don’t like that part of the game. Just like it’s okay to reward people who do show significant dedication and/or skill to different areas in the game.

At least those are my own thoughts on the current state of achievements in the game.

They don’t do a new mount collection achievements every expansion. It usually every 2-3 expansions before we get a new one. So, maybe in Midnight?

Idc if this is almost a year later. This mentality is just bs. It’s a game not real life hard to achieve things. Having mounts just drop at your feet is not teaching people something is too easy. The brains of tryhards and elitists will always make me laugh.

It’s pretty silly at this point, there are hundreds of achievements that exist for the most silly of things, but mount collecting seems to get ignored for years and only updated when an average punter could hit the number without any real effort. Why not a 600, 700, 800, 900 and 1000 achievement?

Give people something to strive for, i have over 900 mounts but i don’t even bother going after a lot of mounts these days, i have literally dozens of easy achievement reward type mounts and vendor mounts just sitting there uncollected because there’s no new achievements+rewards to aim for.

Oh well, we got a new pet collecting one that’s hard to hit without some decent effort, maybe the mount one will follow :woman_shrugging:
