I thought the topic title said “No New Customizations and Don’t even ask about em”
thing is blizzard have the budget to hire few teams
one team work on it
one team on other thing
like all this discussing feels like we talk about small upcoming indie game company with 2 people but we talk about blizzard, HUGE company with HUGE budget
the cutting costs in that matter just seems weird

right, i’m not defending it or anything, and again i’m unhappy with the decision but not to the extent of some people in this thread
Manerlords (yes different genere) is (mostly) done by only one person too.
well rightfully so because apperently blizzard did promised some sort of more customization in shadowlands, and as nightborne player that spend time suggesting ideas and giving feedback their answer in Q&A felt like big middle finger to us, i try my best to speak out in that matter in hope that blizzard will change their mind at least
and to see that it isn’t that hard to pull off more customization really makes you question blizzard and their behavior
though i still have mindset of okay they might surprise us and acknowledge problems like nightborne have almost no options at all and work on it

The worst part of all this, is that they said that they were listening to our feedback, and now we discover that they weren’t even thinking about customizations for this expansion. I feel sad for the artists who put effort on their feedback doing videos and edits.

I am really disappointed. I didn’t expect anything for 9.5 or 9.8 but at least they said they are seeing what we have been talking about for almost 2 years.
Not even a comment like “We are seeing the forums and the many suggestions for customizations that have been brought to us by the players. Many are laborious or do not have the time or resources to do it now, but we have seen what you have suggested to us.
It would not be possible for soon, to attend something about customizations for now.

I still have 15 days of play and I will finish putting my characters at lvl 60 and give me Warcraft vacation.
I heard good things about Final Fantasy, ESO and GW2.
I always wanted to try them but I always had a hard time leaving my worgen, pandaren and vulperas.

I think you misunderstood my post.
I thought the developers outright stated that they aren’t capable of what Final Fantasy XIV does in terms of customization, which, yes, that’s very apparent.

We both know that Worgen won’t be picked over humans or purple humans no matter what they do with their appearance.

Blizzard talking about Shadowlands: “We want to have more focus on character customisation this time!”
Blizzard not even one content patch in to Shadowlands: “Actually, screw it. That would involve like… effort and stuff.”

They promised more customization for allied races since they released… Nightborne were supposed to get more customization for a while now. They delayed it until shadowlands and now they announced it won’t be in shadowlands and that means more sub time and expansion price to pay for what was said was going to be done much sooner. It is very infuriating. Actually. And with 9.1 looking like it’s already delayed it means this expansion may last longer then most expansions (probably due to covid but that’s at least understandble). But to go back on your word is a pretty bad.
