Maybe it’s not a troll post, OP has a good point, Blizzard would rather we walk everywhere to ‘immerse’ ourselves in the game, and if they could they would literally limit it to walking and put a stamina bar in when we run. Which honestly would have been cool 18 years ago, but it’s too late now.
The problem with this whole argument is that Blizzard were basically first in evolving their game, ideas were primitive, no one back than had thought of a run stamina bar or anything else that has come since and since we have been used to flying for 16 years changing it would drastically alter everything from BC > SL.
So why not, let Blizzard have their experiment, let them and importantly let us see what the playing base will be like on a no mount, or at least a no fly server in the most famous expansion this and any other game has ever had.
Patrolling the WoW Forums almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.

Like sneak killing headshots on NCR troops. money off the loot or bank for repairs later, no rep loss…win win.

It’s funny when people say other players game play effects theirs and being forced to play like everyon else. 
I think OP knows its never going to happen otherwise Blizzard wouldn’t be able to sell those mounts in shop.
Are people that bored this summer that they troll on the forums instead of playing the game.
I mean, I get your point but honestly that ship has sailed. The expansion was designed a specific way and as a classic release it should be released in thst manner.
Removing all mounts and flying is too large of a design choice to implement, especially this late with how much amendments would need to be made.
We already know what a no fly WoW feels like though, I don’t think we really need to test that. Every expansion after MoP has been a no fly expansion and designed to be walked around.
I’d argue it hasn’t been very interesting at all, it removes depth from the game.
Expansions like WotLK and TBC are far more interesting when you have inaccessible areas that are within sight and only accessible when you eventually get flying.
It feels like you actually get access to more of the map, rather than the convenience of simply being able to fly.

How about complete RP walking servers where we can walk no faster than the RP walk ppl will love it im sure
Did that in an ashran gone to crap last night on a horde chat.
Some people got irked.
I was jsut trying to live past 1 minute. alliance was pushing hard at gate and was impressive in making it a kill zone of doom. I really got tired of gy rez, rush ,die in seconds flat.
RP walked up in style. To live more than 30 seconds from my last death. Our doomed was assured. I just made it more fun (for me) is all.

Let’s start with realms that have Dungeon Finder first.
Basically, without Dungeon Finder, I don’t have any cumulative interest in Wrath of the Lich King. Would’ve been cool to level 1-60 doing quests and having a Dungeon queue going. Again, without Dungeon Finder, Wrath of the Lich King is disinteresting to me.

You may feel one way or another about no flying, but you also know that flying is coming, you play however you want, you keep playing, take breaks, stick around until flying, but it is coming and that’s a driving force for some people.
Last time they tried to completely remove flying it caused a stir, and it’s never really gone away. If they made a 100% no fly server and you were never ever going to get flying no matter what, a choice between this server where no flying was a thing for a few months or that server where nothing was ever going to change, than we would see definitively what the players actually want instead of a hearsay of what people think is going to happen.
In some ways it’s really the only way possible to stamp this out once and for all, make a server on Classic, or even in 10.0 that has no flying and let us vote with our feet.
So I take it you mean Blizzard should make one just to show how wrong they are and that noone wants no flying?
I guess that would work if it finally makes them understand they need to develop around having flying as a feature instead instead of trying to do everything in their power to try and make it not relevant.
