This whole situation reminds me of the telephone game because I don’t trust that this interviewer did any of the following:
- Asked the right questions.
- Understood the answers.
- Accurately relayed those answers to us, the audience.
It feels to me that people are losing their minds over something that has been entirely lost in translation and isn’t going to be what either the interviewer says it is or what they expect.
In short: Nobody knows wth they are talking about on any side of this discussion and everyone needs more information before beginning to form an opinion.
There isn’t enough substance to either attack or defend this decision and everyone doing either looks like a tool.
Having a voice is great and all but until that voice is backed by a thinking and informed brain it’s just volume.
