That’s interesting because that’s why I play the game lol. I like that each class is like a different game, I like that there’s classes that are easy to play but hard to master. I like to test my abilities. It’s the one thing I find in WoW that I don’t anywhere else. Rotations are unique to WoW. I like to think of them like learning a song. There’s a rhythm to them.
I fully respect not everyone feels that way. I think accessibility is good, and the more the merrier in WoW, but I personally do play it for the complexity, and I don’t even use that many addons. The ones I do though are very helpful for me. I don’t use DBM or anything like that, but taking away Weak Auras would make things more difficult.
I wouldn’t quit over no combat addons, I just hope I’m not going to have to look for a buff in a row of 15 buffs, or track something with no visual cues.
