No more myth transmog appearances from heroic upgrades in Midnight

Thank God I did not pre-purchase the game. Once I’ve gotten the PvP set looks that I want for the season (only need one more) I’m gonna unsub and put this change in the comments.

I legit played all of this expansion because I’m an altoholic who likes to play multiple characters and collect appearances. This legit has killed any motivation I had to play the game. Especially as it says retroactively they’re gonna remove appearances. I got one or two more weeks in me and that’s it.

If there’s fun, Blizzard doesn’t like it!

I’d be okay with this change if they also changed it to where heroic track gear drops in T11 Bountiful delves instead of Champion. At least that way I’m not losing anything

At least that would be a good compromise; but otherwise absolutely hate this change because they have removed people like me who stick to Delves access to the heroic Sets

No they wont.

Many players only engage with the whole delve/crest system to collect these mogs. Why else would you keep running this content over and over again over the course of a season otherwise? There’s no point in upgrading your gear to “do it faster” if the rewards are stripped away.

This change is so short-sighted it’s nauseating. Literally killing off one of the primary grinds that keeps casuals and mog collectors busy over the course of a season.

And yes, the fact delves provided gear with upgrade tracks that required certain crests without providing access to said crests was a huge problem and flaw with the original delve system. It was intended to make those rewards available to solo/delve players and to provide them an avenue to it. Taking that away is an atrocious decision.

Like mythic raiding still had all the best weapon mogs, all the best ilvl and achieve and mount. Delvers litterally had the seasonal mog and that’s it

It’s such an unnecessary change to satisfy such a tiny part of the population that already had all the best stuff

I agree, it’s a dumb change.

But the fact that blizzard said the reasoning for this change is to “preserve the prestige of mythic raiding” means that they won’t revert it without LOTS of people unsubbing.

That’s the thing that kills me. While I really do not like or appreciate this change at all, I would at least find it somewhat agreeable if Myth track gear was not so incredibly exclusive.

If we could obtain Myth track gear from, I dunno, a new Delve difficulty or by doing M+ and NOT relying on vault exclusively then I could kind of see the merit to this change.

But having said that, I still think it’s entirely arbitrary. They’re planning on taking away something we’ve had access to for 2 expansions now, and nothing about that seems fair for the playerbase in general. It’s not fair for any difficulty that players stick to, and it’s especially unfair in regards to obtaining the Mythic appearances.

This change is not arbitrary whatsoever.

The purpose of this change is to get more people into mythic raiding without having to make mythic raiding more enjoyable

Because it’s fun? Delves were never advertised as mog farming content, Blizzard has never stated that. I don’t support what they are doing but don’t misrepresent what delves were originally designed for.

I’m not. It’s a part of what delves were originally designed for. The only thing I’m saying is they’re removing a part of the rewards available to delvers, which is not misrepresenting this change. Keep up.

which will fail

i dont raid bc i dont have time

i dont raid bc i dont like waiting on other ppl to play

delves have nothin to y i dont raid

and yet i have less reason to delves now

Lmao, yeah.
In all seriousness though, history has shown that this just doesn’t work. Take a look at what happened in WoD.

It’s going to result in people simply playing less. If people wanted to Mythic raid, then they’d do that. But they don’t, plain and simple.

You are, you took something for granted and is now upset it’s gone.

I suggest you keep up.

Can’t take something for granted when it was originally provided and being used exactly as it was designed.

Yeah I agree. Mythic raiding is a garbage system that I wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole.

But blizzard refuses to make mythic raiding enjoyable because their delusional take is that mythic raiding is perfect and we are stupid for not doing it.

Actually you did, hence your whining lol.

And welcome to the silence bin, troll.

That’s my view. If they’re going to remove a fairly popular carrot, they’re going to need to add something to replace it if they want people to play the same amount.

I’m all in tears honey, truly.
