No more myth transmog appearances from heroic upgrades in Midnight

For two expansions. We’ve been able to do this for two expansions.

Yeah, who cares about cosmetics, right?

I totally agree with you.

It applies to the entire game and what every customer experiences as a result of the crybabies on the forums.

Didn’t realize casuals like me getting a mythic APPEARANCE affected gameplay so much :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Typical Blizz. One step forward, two steps back. This is actively worse for transmog enjoyers and collectors. Delves made it possible to casually collect pieces needed to collect transmog sets without needing to no-life the game, especially on alts.

So a “crybaby” prevents you from doing the content you want because they cried on the forums? Because players are unhappy with certain choices you cannot do Mythic content? Im not following…

They ain’t gonna do that. They specifically called out maintaining the prestige of higher difficulty. So some pissants at Blizz think it’s a bad thing Delvers, Heroic Raiders, and M+ players can get all PVE looks without specifically mythic raiding.

No - the crybabies force Blizzard hands into doing things that make the game worse.

unfortunately, nathan doesn’t seem to be able to understand the irrationality of claiming that some forum monolith, the aforementioned “forum cry-babies”, levied demands against the game developers that simultaneously resulted in a polarization and homogenization of content.

I’ve seen exactly zero mythic raiders complain about casuals having mythic appearances.

Furthermore, this does affect them too. Now they too have to hope for mythic tier slot drops to get the appearance, instead of upgrading hero gear like the rest of us. It doesn’t completely bar mythic raiders from the appearance but it definitely makes it harder to obtain, same with M+ players. Now you have to run your 10 and hope you get lucky with a mythic tier slot in the vault. Upgrading the easily accessible hero gear was how the vast majority of us got our mogs, sweaty elitists included. This change literally affects everyone in some capacity and is lame as hell.

I’m not sure which delusiuon in these threads is better this one or the guy who thinks the delve tombstone push people to suicide.

A cosmetic path that immediately loses all prestige the second a season or two passes.

Okay Pearlite.

Stupid, tone deaf change. I’m not going to run on the hamster gear wheel if there’s no mog rewards for doing it. I guess I’ll just do tier 8 delves to get the heroic set and never bother going higher.

Exactly. The prestige argument is stupid even when it comes to FOMO content. It’s doubly stupid for stuff that can be solo farmed in a year or two.

This is an excellent point I was overlooking.

Well, I think we found at least one with Zoumz.

I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it’s a lapse in judgement on their part.

No it wouldn’t. Not all of us are triggered victims like you are.

Delves don’t have that much value to begin with. Your point is terrible.

The power/stats I can understand, but appearances shouldn’t be off limits. We already have that block with the MT appearances

Man this sucks. It felt like a way to collect mogs at my own pace. It really is just a QoL downgrade for people that don’t do raids.
