Typical Blizz. One step forward, two steps back. This is actively worse for transmog enjoyers and collectors. Delves made it possible to casually collect pieces needed to collect transmog sets without needing to no-life the game, especially on alts.

They ain’t gonna do that. They specifically called out maintaining the prestige of higher difficulty. So some pissants at Blizz think it’s a bad thing Delvers, Heroic Raiders, and M+ players can get all PVE looks without specifically mythic raiding.

unfortunately, nathan doesn’t seem to be able to understand the irrationality of claiming that some forum monolith, the aforementioned “forum cry-babies”, levied demands against the game developers that simultaneously resulted in a polarization and homogenization of content.

I don’t even think most Mythic raiders I’ve met even care about this or would want this.

I’ve seen exactly zero mythic raiders complain about casuals having mythic appearances.

Furthermore, this does affect them too. Now they too have to hope for mythic tier slot drops to get the appearance, instead of upgrading hero gear like the rest of us. It doesn’t completely bar mythic raiders from the appearance but it definitely makes it harder to obtain, same with M+ players. Now you have to run your 10 and hope you get lucky with a mythic tier slot in the vault. Upgrading the easily accessible hero gear was how the vast majority of us got our mogs, sweaty elitists included. This change literally affects everyone in some capacity and is lame as hell.

Never will happen. Should absolutely. Would be funny as hell. But the idea of a Dev’s character showing up dead from a Tombstone? A World First Raider? That would create a rage in them not unlike Nuclear Gandhi. I’ve done cutting edge content. I saw enough crap from guild politics in a raid guild that I swore I would never do it again, and I have not.

People can draw what conclusions they will about this, but my point is and always has been that Tombstones, like this change; are calculated ones intended to devalue Delves and to try and force players into Mythic+. If Delves are more enjoyable than Mythic+ and Raids, why design them? That is a problem for the folks who like to pretend they are ‘the chad’ in game, because IRL they despise their existence as ‘the virgin’.

Delves don’t have that much value to begin with. Your point is terrible.

Man this sucks. It felt like a way to collect mogs at my own pace. It really is just a QoL downgrade for people that don’t do raids.
