did op get a refund?
I’m an altoholic. I love making new characters, and new customization is an excuse to do just that. The vast majority of my WoW time has been, up until recently, spent from 1 to max level because I make alts for all the ideas I come up with.
Is my monthly fee spent doing that worth less than the monthly fee of people who spend it on grinding out dungeons/raids for higher gear? I’m certainly spending the same amount of time and money on the game, else I wouldn’t be here.
And they still haven’t fixed the customization they already added.
Dark-skinned humans in WoW have black mouths and stained brown teeth from them just darkening the entire texture file. Something that could easily be fixed in 10 minutes in photoshop and re-importing the texture. Is this shoddy, shove-it-out-the-door effort supposed to be their take on racial representation in WoW? Way to show you care, Blizz.

Now now, I’m sure there’s a perfectly reasonable tech/logistics explanation for why they couldn’t take one minute to mask out the teeth in Photoshop before using the hue and contrast sliders. We don’t need a bunch of armchair artists assuming this is actually as easy as it looks.

And Blizzard gives the same attention and importance to those things that you think are important.
If that is not a good reason, then do not complain about these other things, since you apparently will continue here, despite these things that you consider most pertinent are not changed by blizzard.

Small indie companies need to produce content to keep people locked in. Some people are just here because they don’t know anything else. It’s a given.

I recommend taking a break from WoW for folks and looking into actual small indie mmos. Cuz they’re far from perfect but playing them you can FEEL the passion in the game. Something long lost from WoW.

So, essentially, no, there was no promise of more customizations for this particular expansion Instead it will be “ongoing”, meaning anytime in the future.
So the whole anger argument is based on wishful thinking and interpretation.

When/where did Blizzard promise that they would add more customization beyond what was already added? I think this is a case of “I expected more and mistranslated it as more then just one wave of extra customization and now my own self-expectations make me unsub and rage” type post.

That was hardly the only thing they said for one.
For two. WHENEVER POSSIBLE?!?!?!?! That’ actually makes it 15x worse because it’s possible to give a new customisation option a day. That’s what is possible.
Even red shirt guy agrees it was promised. Not all promises are explicit. But it was implicit. They said they’d add customisation throughout shadowlands and specifically called out allied races.

What do you feel you are accomplishing here? Telling people to refund a 4 month old product is not only lame, it’s not the purpose of a refund or chargeback but you know that right?
You also know that your now new asinine lawsuit idea is also just as silly? But once again I am sure you know this.
What gets me, is innocent comments about people’s gear get a dude flagged today yet you still exist…
Tells me so much about who’s left here in the forums, and it’s truly depressing.
