To you, I get it, you expected the world, and no matter what they gave you, you would be here.
Let’s be real, with the actual real problems that they should be focusing on that affect the less vain characters, do you really think that the majority of the base cares? They don’t.
This whole thread is about an idiot abusing the banking system over an “Well I thought…” statement. You get that right? Four months in saying they are requesting a refund, and rofl encouraging other to do the same, over a face in a video game…
This isn’t first world, this is on a whole new level of entitlement.
Nope. I expect the things used as a selling point to be in the product I buy.
But hey Warcraft 3 Reforged killed also the original WC3, no matter if you bought it or not. Silly me to expect better.
Seems more like you aren’t willing to read. The OP said repeatedly customization was the last straw to her. Not the single reason.
Not saying I agree or not with that.
Ok, let me break this down for you. They were in the product you bought. They released them early because they held back the expansion release. That whole Chromie stuff was supposed to be in SL. We got it before then.
So you got what you paid for, honest to Bob, how you can’t understand that is incomprehensible to me. It was a feature released early.
You need 2 snickers bud.
Seems you like to fight for silly causes. Like someone who continues to play for four months when unhappy and then wants a refund… yeah, they are so worthy of your time!
In one interview he said they may be coming after the release of SL. You read into that as a fact! You are silly if you did.
Know what that line means? Yeah more are coming but it could be in 2 expansions. I get it, you want them to be the big bad, but your interpretation of the facts is not only laughable, it’s nonsensical.
Do carry on though, 2 hours of OT tonight, and this banter is so amusing!
While some people may not understand this, to me customisations are so important for me, I was crushed when I heard they said they not doing anymore…
It literally is the life blood of doing old and new content, I love collecting mogs, mix matching with hairstyles and beards seeing what I like, I’d spends hours trying to create a unique look to stand out…
Not to mention Allied Races need more customisations then anything else…
I feel the 180 decision to stop customisations was a horrible decision, people love this, people where hoping for this.
End of the day, Blizzard devs made promises about the future of customization in Shadowlands. That more would be coming with the expansion.
To be told at the first Blizzcon of Shadowlands that not only would we be getting no customization in 9.1 but no expanded options at all for the rest of the expansion is a gutpunch.
When folks like Ian Bates (aka Red Shirt Guy) are pointing out that yes, Blizzard made promises and talked up post-launch customization only to do a 180, then they’ve done a 180 on it. You may not agree, you may think that they didn’t promise, but no matter what you may think as an individual, there are many people, including those in the RP communities, and those who play Allied Races (particularily Nightborne and Lightforged Draenei) that are feeling hurt by this decision.
Pressure needs to be put on Blizzard to change course and bring the customization that was promised. Especially since it was a selling feature of the expansion in place of a new class or new races.
My motivation for Shadowlands is gone because of it right now.
I love collecting mogs, ruing dungeons, raids etc to collect more. It’s a big part of the enjoyment I get out of the RPG to customize my characters in certain ways.
Exactly and more so they don’t have plans for it, or at least an explanation.
When you have this degree of backlash from so many people who feel they have been seriously misled, the whole “umm actually/technically” shpiel over inane semantics really ceases to matter. Blizzard led people on over the course of the last year, even to the point of specifically addressing that allied races like nightborne were not up to spec and would be a priority once the core races got a pass, and then they decided to crush people’s hopes and expectations with a spectacularly tone deaf PR-laced statement that feels completely contradictory to their previous intentions, and this is on top of leaving us hanging for an unusually long number months with no news of what 9.1 would entail.
There were plenty of people in the forums and elsewhere who have been vocal and curious over any news pertaining to new nightborne customiztions on the premise of what has been stated in numerous interviews and PR pieces over the course of last year. Had they been more communicative back then with some blue posts or other official means of stating their intentions they could have at least mitigated part of the backlash instead of pulling the rug from under everyone on a long anticipated Blizzcon stream.
The way this has all played out really has me leaning on it being a completely arbitrary decision by corporate bean counters obsessing over KPI, and then they decided to trot out a fall guy to bring the news.
You likely won’t get anything from Activision but you can always go to the ESRB an other rating agencies and put in a complaint. Activision more likely to take you seriously if you go after their Rating Standing of their products.
Unlike Activision itself, the rating companies taking breaking consumer laws very seriously.
Because they advertised key features and now have said NOPE. Part of their maintaining their Rating is being honest with their Customers. That’s WHY my friend.
You misunderstand the whole purpose of that organization, and you are doing everyone a disservice.
Sometimes it’s better to think before you post, but it seems you missed out on that tidbit.
Be better, heck, just stop trying to push a non agenda where it doesn’t fit. Your lack of understanding on the ERSB could fill two libraries, so please, stop with the “fake news” and get the facts.
