I can help with the cow tale… Once upon a time. there was this wonderful Guernsey cow. Every animal on the farm loved her because she was so sweet and nice.

We gave away the silly ducks one year and now are the hit of the neighborhood as the duck house. Everyone gets sad if we give out candy and not ducks

I keep going all out and we never get any kids… We are the last house before a large dark corner with a way to go before the next house. When I was a kid we would have gone out of our way for this kind of house… Kids these days.

You should come to our house and hang out around the bonfire with us! We are the first dark corner house before a huge HOA that goes eyeballs in for Halloween. We’re an older house and all these new McMansions in the HOA look a little bit more modern and prettier, but we still give out good loot. Kids these days… book by the cover and all.
Edit: I should add we sit around a propane fire in our driveway all night on Halloween just so people will stop by and get some loot. It’s the only way these older houses get any kiddos. No streetlights here so it’s spooky, even if the yards are decorated and porchlights are on!
For the record, I started getting nerds within 2 buckets on Kalimdor, and how I have 14.
