Well, your strawman sounds like a big jerk classic player. 
Personally, as a classic fan, I’ve been as specific as possible regarding classes, scaling, WF/TF, and the spots where it’s impossible to go off of the rails. Yes, there are a lot more ground/AOE/hide mechanics in retail, which prevents AFK (or kills the AFK/novice players), but the adventure guide wasn’t a thing back then either.
Anyway. You seem upset that Classic has the potential to expose Retail Smaug’s weakness, which is definitely not people that go AFK in raids.
