Brann’s not all bad. He reminds you not to stand in the webs. 
If they did use a Warband character in place of Brann, it would only be as a skin (which would probably be the same with Follower Dungeons), so I’m not sure It’d make a real difference other than having a Gnome, Undead or Pandaren, speak with Brann’s voice!

I 100% agree. I think letting us use our alts for delves/follower dungeons would be amazing and add so much to class fantasy and immersion. I already have big plans for the groups I’ll make when and if they do something like this
Well I have healer, tank and dps characters that want to be in dungeons with me okay lol. It’s my dream dammit. No one is going to take that away from us 🫶🏽

There are in fact voice lines for simple commands in the PC’s voices. They could just use those.
Blizz could give us the choice: Brann or Warband.
If we choose Brann, the system is the same, no changes. If we choose Warband we get to pick any of our main Warband characters. The AI could be used from the comp stomp/follower dungeons. Afterall, Blizzard has shown they can make AI players that are able to smash many players. Remember that week when they released a comp stomp and it was actually killing people? People got so mad that the BGs were so sweaty and there was a flood of complaints. IMO we have the tech.
Brann’s voice, and more importantly, Brann’s ability to stand in Zek’vir’s frontal for no good reason and die.

I don’t know, sometimes his cry of “Don’t stand there!” can be helpful.

When I’m playing my Hunter in BM spec, he’s always yelling it at my pets, which is kind of pointless!
Yes, that’s the same with Demo Warlock, though sometimes lobbed ranged attacks target my Warlock and not my pet.
