Not quite a ânothing burgerâ . The FTC has officially leveled a complaint at M$ over the deal. And by law they canât make a complaint unless they found something either illegal or possibly not right using the frame work of the competition laws of the United States.
So while not quite nothing it is the one of the first steps in a very very long process. I wouldnât be surprised if they somehow negotiate their way into a new updated merger agreement as the current one has a hard close date of July 18 , 2023. And the final hearing on this case is set to August 2023.
This is concerning as it thens places M$ in the position of having to pay ATVI between $2 - 3$ billion in termination fine depending on when the deal closes.

Yea sony got ticked off cause they want cod access and think micro is gona lock it down for xbox exclusive they sued to stop it or asked ftc to step in or something.

Asides from that the Dept of justice did the review of the Fox M/A
