lol, where to begin. 38 is old? HAH. You are a kid. And you have no kids, it seems, either. So huh… married person that brags about having time one night a week to be social for a couple of hours.
Anecdotal success and missing the target. Better duo than Twilight, there.
Sorry not sorry I’m better with time management then you are?
But you’re right, I don’t have kids, that doesn’t mean I don’t have other responsibilites throughout the day and week that means my playtime in WoW is limited. Despite that, I can still make time for literally one evening a week to socialize with friends - like a normal human being should - to do a Raid that requires, at most, an hour and a half to complete (And that’s high balling it).
Not really sure what you’re getting at here anyways with your condescending post. But hey, if you really want to go down that route - if you’re unable to find time during the week to spend time doing something you enjoy with your friends, then you’ve got a lot more problems in your life than you seem to think I do by spending all of two hours on one night playing WoW.
I do, however, appreciate being called a kid at thirty-eight. It’s been a long while anyone’s actually had the common courtesy to compliment me on being younger than I look, so cheers to that at least.
Yes, you’re right, I don’t have kids, because my wife and I made the conscious, adult decision to not have children, as neither of us care to have them, which works in our favor as well, given that she’s quite literally incapable of safely having children.
But hey, random condescending forum poster that seems to want to have a “Gotcha moment” at my expense, kudos to you for implying that I’m somehow an inferior person for not having children, whether I want them or not.
It really is kind of amazing to me, however, that people with your attitude are the ones that cry that it’s people like me that are “gate keepers who make the game toxic for others to be able to play”. What you’re doing, and how you’re responding to me? It’s far more toxic then anything I’ve ever said in WoW, and it’s becoming very, very clear to me that the reason why a lot of more casual players - like yourself - run into these drama moments is because you’re the ones poking the bear and rocking the boat.
More like 9/10 normal pugs go smoothly and we one shot every boss. People would probably take your point more seriously if you weren’t 9/10 on the hyperbole meter
Right. He throws that out and then says he’s under 40 and doesn’t even have kids. Lacking perspective entirely, yet quick to lecture the rest of us on what’s valid. Then climbs up on an impossibly high horse to get holy about everyone else not treating him well.
Also, just want to add here, I never said you were “inferior” for not having kids, that’s just you living rent free in your own head. I was simply talking about the “free time” you feel all old people should have, and basically discounting all of the parents out there, which are basically most of those “old people”.
Because it doesnt matter how easy the fights are or the time that is spent forming the group. For a lot of people we simply dont want to interact with anyone else. Auto-queue removes the need to talk or go through an interview process or binary decision of being invited or not. If blizzard wants more people to raid the higher difficulties, put them all on auto-queue, thats the only way to really get more people to raid even if it will be a clusterf*** of a disaster.
Even world events that just auto invite people do better for sociability than having raid leader sift through their optimum raid group. It was a only a matter of time before the majority of people would avoid group content. Every time a raid leader declined or kicked a player, whether warranted or not, fed into the overall desire for more solo and casual play. If you get rejected or passed over enough, people simply stop trying. Its human nature. You see it in real life and its bled into game life. Yes people can power on through or get back on the horse but if that was the norm, LFR and Dungeon Finder would never have been made. Over time the environment has bred more and more anti-socials.
There’s a whole lot of “holier than thou” going on here. It’s a tired trope. Don’t think for a second that you can tell everyone how they are supposed to feel when doing whatever you want to use as an example. Everyone is different and we have our reasons for what we like and don’t like.
Our guild runs Heroics on Tues/Thurs. If you want to to join for the first 4 and are willing to try I have no issue with inviting you. Who knows? Maybe you will a home and a guild that day.
I don’r really care about the dinars much but very much enjoy LFR. I wish the mode was not getting maligned so much here. It doesn’t mean I am antisocial and hate interacting with other players; what even is that take.
I also que for random battlegrounds in much the same way, and enjoy those too. It’s quick and convenient. So sue me that’s how I currently like to play the game.
Ok? I looked that up, and I’m not that either. Maybe psychoanalizing players based on enjoying the efficiency and convenience of queable content is just hogwash and has nothing to do with anything, except maybe enjoying efficiency and convenience.
I’m schedule is chaotic, I never play at the same time, so I’ve been an LFR raider since SL. These chips and getting really powerful items were great at the end of DF and in Undermine, deciding that people shouldn’t be able to get a little OP at the end of the xpac is disappointing.
My thought is that casuals/solo players should be able to do the LFR and get the hero loot. It can’t be increased in ilvl past 704, which is champion 8/8 unless they do the raids that give the crests above Runed. So I really don’t understand the issue. No one doing LFR is getting anything they can’t get by looting Champion gear…. 704 max level.
More stuff for the elite I suppose. Since my 3 kills on LFR didn’t count for anything I suppose I’ll just abandon the quest and stick to delves. I haven’t gotten to T10 and 11 yet anyway. I’m a casual player, and apparently Blizzard isn’t too concerned about us particular group of losers. LOL!
