How is this a dig at them, when its nothing less than a fact? Did i make something up? I was only further proving my point of how current devs are out of touch with the devs who actually set up the heirlooms in the first place.

Just stop arguing with them. They are not going to get what they want so you win by default. From their remarks they seem to not like anything about the game and complain everything.
Let them try taking legal action against blizzard over some gold they spent in a computer game. They just going to embarrass themselves.
The bonus xp was a terrible idea in the first place and I’m glad they removed it. If it was up to me I would have removed them all entirely and made people play the game the way it should be played. I have a lot of heirlooms pretty much most of them and you dont see me complaining. Because it is a game and not real.

They don’t care about that. They were hired to make the game, and they are doing their best to do so.

The “devs” who “set up” heirlooms in the first place never imagined a world where leveling would take so little time and be so compact.
Do you think they would have added Heirlooms if they knew that was the future?
Do you think they added Heirlooms because they knew that was the future and they felt people would like their idea better?
For me, I see it as they added Heirlooms because it seemed like the best solution at the time.
And now, there is a better solution.

Not sure. Saying the devs are “out of touch” is usually what people who are too frustrated to think straight say when things don’t go their way.

Why can’t they? They have refunded things before.
Its far too late to remove them, and no one would want them to.
If they removed them and you posted 150 times in 8 hours on that topic, that would make sense.
They don’t want to remove them though.
They just needed to adjust them so their new system could work universally well, and they did a decent job.
The bonuses missed the mark a bit, but hopefully we will see new iterations or even new heirlooms all together to make up for that.
They already work universally well with the bonus xp

In BFA for sure. They wont any more in Shadowlands, so they needed to make a change.
