No form for balance druid?

The shrink doesnt stack as in making you twice as small but it does stack with the illusion buff so you are indeed a super small skeleton.

Play another caster ranged dps then

I’d enjoy more customization options like this, sure. I’m very grateful for Glyph of Stars so I’ll take what I can get, but I’ll agree that sometimes I wish it was more like resto, which for many years now has allowed physical/visible transformation to be optional.

To my knowledge nothing requires you use Moonkin form or Astral form. You would loose a little dps but if looks are more important don’t use it.

If you use the glyph of starts, shift to moonkin form, and then use the Heartsbane Grimoire toy while you are already in moonkin form it mostly gets rid of the glyph of stars effect. It’s easily obtainable from a chest in the open world in Drustvar

Thanks for the tip! :dracthyr_heart:

More than no form, i wish they did a change to glyph of stars,
maybe make it have a glowy astral outline in our character instead of making the entire character a blue ghost, or have some stars floating around our character.
And honestly whenever you go to human form, it should auto-enable boomkin form if you are balance spec. (without any talents, just baseline)
Shadow form is a toggle and forget now, boomkin form should also have this option.

I wish the stars looked more like the stars on the Celestial Observer’s gear set and just kinda floated around my character

I don’t even mind the stars, I just wish it didn’t turn my character completely blue

Druids are shapeshifters, meaning you use forms.
Removing forms removes too much of the class fantasy imo, so I am against it.
If someone really so dislikes the forms, then Druid class may not be the best for them.

Glyph of Stars is the closest they should go.

This is why I use the glyph that makes the forms random.

What they should work on instead, is to make all animal like mounts usable travel form and some as bear/cat form as well.
It feels bad getting a mount on a druid, because you will dont actually use it.
[Reins of Anu’relos, Flame’s Guidance] is already usable like this and I would like this to be extended to for other mounts as well.

Nah druids have enough forms, let other classes get stuff for a change

Balance Druids balance between 2 magic types. Astral and Nature.
Glyph of stars supports the Astral magic.

A nature / solar themed style of Glyph of stars would be cool tho.

That would be super cool too. As long as both of them had the option to not completely turn your character blue/solar colored.

and yet, Druids cant remain in tree form without incurring some global CD. it should be a toggle aura that uses tree form as default caster form instead of needing to click it ever time you leave cat or bear.

as far as Balance casting, while it MIGHT be slightly less class fantasy it lends itself to being more character friendly when the personal fantasy is to be a spell casting master shapeshifting werewolf.

as far as combat for BEAR and CAT there are 0 options to fight like a Werewolf. a Worgen. the NPCs can all do it. but even Monk unarmed has combat animations that dont fit. But with Druid, the attack types all fit perfect. Be it Rip, Swipe. Thrash, Maul shred or Bite.

should not have to use multiple toys and carefully ordered ones at that, to get close to the effect.

Worgen is already Druid Related any how. technically all other classes are multiclassing Druid when selecting Worgen. :dracthyr_hehe:

so, I dont think it would be game breaking for Worgen to have an option, maybe in the barber shop. to choose a more Ferocious version of their Worgen form for Cat or Bear.

Isn’t that p much the same as every class and spec? Wanna know how many times I’ve seen the fists of fury animation? Doesn’t matter what mog you’re using it eventually just gets old to stare at. I’ve had the same xmog since the 20th anniversary stuff came out. Same spec same everything.

I agree, it would be a nice option. Glyph of Natural Balance.

Put it in a Suggestion in the ingame suggestion option. Who knows, they might do it.

Do the glamor/enchanting things do that as well? I may try it just to see.

Would love for worgen to get some more attention. The gilneas liberation was a bit disapointing, the heritage armor is pretty bad and the recent redo of darkflight while kind of cool didn’t make us bis on any list. I’ll always love worgen if the devs don’t but man we could use some love.

Back to druid though:

  • I would also accept a basic balance spell below the druid on the ground to indicate balance form, some classes have innate spells like this that occur to indicate a proc. Literally all I’m asking for here: let us enjoy mogs

It would be nice if we had more options if Blizzard wanted to visually show someone was a moonkin druid. Maybe they could have a glyph of antlers (where you have antlers like Malfurion, or different kinds of moonkin antlers), and the rest is just you in your normal caster form and you can see your gear.

Would require more work than a basic spell floating around your character but would be cool!

ngl i’d roll Balance Druid if i could actually be my character and not some ridiculous chicken-owl-thing. No, glyph of stars is not enough. I want to see 100% of my character and my beautiful transmogs.
