No Flying Realms for Wrath

That’s awesome dude, well good luck in your quest to relive those awesome social experiences I guess. In my opinion, even in Classic it just is not at all the same as it used to be. I don’t think it’s possible at all to relive the experience I had in WoW during Wrath while leveling up and learning the game. Everyone was just too different compared to today, and the gaming world was very different then too.

But anyway, I doubt this will do what you hope it will besides maybe the ground pvp part. WoW has tried to force us to be on ground mounts only for several months in the beginning of numerous expansions now and it has done nothing to make the game feel more social for me anyway. Most people just ignore each other regardless.

I can’t disagree with you as much as I want to. You’re definitely right about that. Many, many things are different about players in Classic WoW vs the original Vanilla, BC and Wrath.

WoW has tried to force us to be on ground mounts only for several months in the beginning of numerous expansions now and it has done nothing to make the game feel more social for me anyway.

I think that’s because they tried it in WoD and there was little reason to leave your garrison anyways, and because from WoD, forward, the system was already in place for you to just teleport to any dungeon or raid you wanted through a queue system. I think if it was tried in Wrath, it would be a much more practical “experiment” if you will. And have much better results than it would if it was implemented in retail, at least not the way retail is now.

I still think that having realms where flying is not allowed, would not only be popular, but benefit the health of WoW classic, moving forward

I would rather you and any other players who are advocates of ‘no flight’ quit instead of Blizzard wasting resources on an old version of the game. We need their resources on Dragonflight first and foremost. Again you do you and Blizzard will do Blizzard and unluckily for you that includes leaving WotLK alone and keeping flight. I am looking forward to WotLKC as is.
