Trying to access the content for Oribos and have a mission to go to Maldraxxus but there is no way to get there. I can see the icon for the flight npc but there is literally no one and nothing there. Is this content just broken? Am I wasting my time?
Make sure your in the right phase, there is a platform there to switch. One one has a flight npc

Question, have you done the Shadowlands introduction on the character you need to go to Maldraxxus on? If you haven’t done the Shadowlands introduction, then that is possibly the reason why you don’t see anyone there.

There are two “floors” in Oribos. Go towards the center and there will be a platform to click on that will take you to the floor where the flight master is located.

From what I can see, Arcanesuhn, this character hasn’t done any of the Shadowlands quests yet. You will probably need to speak with Highlord Darion Mograine in Stormwind for Shadowlands: A Chilling Summons.
Make sure to have Low Level Tracking on, as the exclamation point for the quests aren’t likely going to be visible to you.

I was literally given a quest in the Shadowlands to go to another island, I also did a quest to get contraband or someting in Oribos - If you are showing I did nothing there, something is not right somewhere. But nevermind, I have lost interest in this content.
Do you have the quests names for those? Some quests may be available even if the path to them is not yet open. You have to do the bare minimum in many expansion areas to open them up for travel.

Just looked at my achievements and there is nothing for Shadowlands - so something is absolutely not right. - Went there with another character to see if I could find the quest I did there and there was only a purple quest which i never saw before (Return to Lordaeron I think). So I am at a loss. I will check a third party guide since the game itself is not helpful at all for finding how to start a zone - the starting quests is obviously not there. Where is it? The game doesn’t seem to want me to know.
Since Lemix, I have had a quest pop up whenever I first bring a new character into Legion Dalaran to travel to Maldraxxus in Shadowlands and speak with the quartermaster there because I have reached exalted status with that faction. Regardless of the fact I have not taken that character into Shadowlands content by any means. This clearly a consequence of Shadowlands factions becoming account-wide.
It is so clearly a bug, that I have set my quest log to not track it until such time in the future decide to take said new characters into Shadowlands. The servers are currently offline or I would happily supply the name of the problematic quest.
EDIT: The servers being back up, I found the buggy quest: “Paragon of the Undying Army”. This behavior began during Lemix and persists into the current retail release. I have this quest on my Harandir Druid (Brwnllyr-Trollbane) created during 12.0.1 and on a Worgen Monk (Ulfrich-Eldre’Thalas) created during Lemix. As I recall, they had the quest forced on then soon after arriving at the Dalaran flightmaster area for the first time. There was probably a level requirement, perhaps that could be seen in the logs.

Well then, if it is a bug, report it to the bug report forums for the QA Team to investigate and the Development to fix it.
