I don’t buy physical copies of a game because it’s a waste of space for me. I’m happy for you that you get to cuddle with a box or put it on a shelf.

Same here. As soon as digital was available, I tossed them.

When I moved earlier this year, empty collector edition boxes from previous expansions went in the trash. They are only worth something if unopened anyway.

I’m not into box collecting either. The last collectors edition I bought for a game was SWTOR, which was 11 years ago. The only thing I kept from it was the statue and CD. The rest went in the trash.

I used to buy the collector’s editions every time just to replace my mouse pad on a biennial basis.

Switched to one of those big desk mats though. It may look alarmingly like I game on a adult film set, but it has saved me quite a bit of money in collector’s editions.
