none of the dungeon bosses are rewarding loot

Same issue here. After defeating first boss the chest does not open. I’m doing the follower version of the dungeon, relogging did nothing.
Edit: It seems the followers are bugged for this dungeon also. If I let the tank lead the way, she always runs back to the beginning and just stands there. I completed the dungeon and did not receive a single piece of loot and most of the trash within the dungeon dropped nothing also.

still no fix. Alg Academy still no loot
Same problem here. I was doing the follower version and there is no loot after the first boss. And the tank doesn’t seem to know what to do after that.

you aren’t wrong it’s 100% bugged when df came out algeth’ar academy would drop gold and loot for players

Confirming that as of 06/07/2026 this issue persists.
The bosses only give loot to a person who gets a piece of loot in normal (and I presume heroic and mythic 0), no gold or grey items, so the bosses are not lootable at all unless you won a piece of gear. This is a change they made during the conversion of AA to a Midnight rotation dungeon. Probably a bug that normal dungeons have unlootable bosses.
This is by design somewhat. There is typically no loot in follower dungeons, it’s there to complete the campaign and stories, not for players to rinse and repeat to get gear.
Since you can’t loot the chest, the followers mess up a bit and sit there in this one, just proceed to the next boss and they will go with you, start the fights and they will join in. I completed the run/quests with no issues, and obviously no loot other than the Q rewards.
