Am I crazy? Why doesn’t one of the primary classes designed around control have any CC of value to bring to dungeons? Yea kidney shot is great but why are they taking away AoE blind? Why do classes like shaman who have a mastery buff, off healing, etc have an AoE CC, same with paladin, Monk.

Same reason that we don’t have a tank spec, a healing spec, a battle res, and/or bring lust (every other class brings at least one of these).
Because long ago a rogue camped Ion, and he’s been salty ever since.
Also,
It’s really, really not. We have to build then sink our combo points into a stun. No other class has to do anything remotely like this to send theirs.

What ? Aoe blind is still in the talent tree. The tooltip is not reflecting it, but the AoE part is still working on Beta.

Uh okay. I assumed since they specifically removed the verbiage about it effecting in an area and it is a very straightforward cooldown and duration reduction that it was single target on the beta.
