They grabbed the nelf model and tweaked it. They had the same stances as night elves when they came out on the ptr.

They date back 10000 years, and played a key role in the War of the Ancients. Hence why they are ancients.
Encased inside the barrier and without the sun/moon the nightwell mutated them from their previous form (Night Elf).

Yes theyre not Night Elfa but im saying that Nightnorne face is prob modeled after the Male Night Elf face options
So do Night Elves and they’re not old, wrinkled, weird, zombie, mutated faces.
Into Nightborne, not these craptastic playable things we got.
Thus the issue. They’re supposed to look like the NPCs, not the lazy crap they gave us.

Unlike the Night Borne the Nigt Elfs had thier sun and moon exposure. The World Tree thier source of immortality also played a key role

Nightborne NPCs are NOT weird old zombies. Nor should playable ones be. They’re the same race!
Nightborne are now once again balanced with Nature and Arcane die to the Arcan’dor.

To be fair, female Nightborne look like old grandmas, so the problem is with the race altogether. Blizzard really did a poor job of implementing them into the game, laziness really.

it’s one of the reasons i don’t play nightborne, along with them taking whatever the make night elf casting animation is supposed to be. They’re my favorite race thematically, but I can’t stand a few things about them and they scuff up the whole look imo

The eyes are so off, that’s sad. I suppose Blizzard probably won’t be fixing the males or females anytime soon.
