I hope so. I hope they just remove the race/class combo restrictions. I wanted nightborne shaman/druid. I have one of each class so far.
Nightborne druids would be more like.
Nightborne shamans would be battle mages/elementalists. The Highborne had studied the elements and in Surumar and Nazjatar we see Highborne mages that are effectively doing elemental magics. The bridge between Highborne and Naga shaman.
Spellblade Aluriel utilizes both Fire and Frost elementals.

Nightborne totems could use benthic crystals as technology that controls elementals. Or something like the blood elf sentry wards (mage rods).
