Nightborne and night elf faces need changes

Yea its only messed up on the SL version of the dressing room for some reason, and several faces look distorted like that. Which is why I’m speculating that they were trying to edit them. I just don’t know how these unfinished faces ended up in the dressing room though.

I’m not impressed with the changes to the Night Elves on the PTR currently, so I’m not at all hopeful for what they might do for the Nightborne.

  • 7 out of 9 faces for the male Night Elf are ugly/wrinkled/grimacing.
  • Random vines in hair and beard. Not every Night Elf is a druid.
  • Hair textures for both Night Elf and Nightborne look…dated. Look at the Blood Elf/Void Elf hair textures and tell me they look to be of the same quality.

They have some cool stuff, but all races are lacking in customizations.

that is ugly.

Sorry this is not sims city,if you would like game focused on fashion, modeling, clothing and romance World of WARcraft-MMORPG is not for you.

Blizzard makes this game and they are ones who made night elves, and all other races, they know better how they look. If you have problem with that please make own game, design own characters and give them appearance you would like to.

Wouldn’t be surprised that they’re working on the Nightborne faces. They were a rushed out Legion AR and altering their eyes on a Playable Model requires new animation rigging which does take time.

This was my night elf huntress face… RIP :sob:

Nope, the old classic nelf models really looked good. Well, now you might think it’s so pixelated but the truth is they actually looked liked blood elfs but taller with gothic makeup.

The Devs during wow classic, really tried their best to represent these races.
Lets say they looked liked this in these arts or they were better represented as these arts.

They need to actually be thicc like their npc counterparts. We need thicc elves

Those faces and a few of the old night elves faces looked more european. The new ones have facial structures more like asian women. Sometimes I get the feeling some people don’t like only having asian features on an elf. But then again, some of the old ones also looked asian as well so you had more diversity whereas the new faces all sort of share the same basic structure.

(As an asian woman I felt much more connected to my character when the new faces were released, but maybe some people felt they lost the faces they were familiar with because of this)

Bloodelfs looks like south Korean models. So, they are definitely Asian.
Here is a sample,

I’ve never perceived them as looking Korean, the eye structure (lack of a mono-lid) and the tiny lips, thin nose bridge and the sharp jaws look more like some indian women I’ve seen. Or even italian.

I felt that one was the most womanly looking.

The stuff I like never makes the cut.

IMO its ugly either way.

Maybe that was the problem? They look too similar? I think they tried to differentiate them, but night elves got the worst part of it.

I miss the old night elves ;_;

I guess since the wod remodel I really don’t play night elves anymore outside of my druid who I mostly just pick flowers with, they just don’t look as good as they use to. I mostly play draenei now so I’m not complaining too much, but I forgot how much I liked the old night elf model.
