Character who exists only for the benefit of other characters. Has no personal arc. Only acts when to expose horde stupidity or incompetence. He’s a litmus test for “get ready to be made to feel dumb for liking your faction” or for him to get damseled.

No one “owns” Hyjal. It’s neutral territory. So is Moonglade. Ashenvale is mostly owned by the Horde. Felwood is mostly unlivable and neutral, Darkshore is a decimated warzone and the only full zone Nelfs have (for all the good it does now), Azshara is now Horde, Stonetalon is mostly Horde. You want me to keep going?

Night elves lost more than most. But they don’t have a monopoly on loss and suffering. Even tyrande is aware of this when she tells Sylvanas her job is to get ALL souls out of the maw not just night elves.
