Why does the night elf heritage armor have to “fit” all of their classes? The belf robe doesn’t scream rogue nor hunter, which is their elite farstriders unit. Dark Iron dwarf heritage looks very plate like so doesn’t fit anything very well outside pally or warrior.
The previously pic loin cloth gear imo would be the best nelf heritage armor. The cinematic that started it all had a female nelf wearing a very similar look. Loved it and is why my first character was a nelf hunter.

They have a pants choice not just robe. The pants and top work fine for hunter and rogue. Can even mix and match with many leather or mail pieces if wanted. However the set works fine for Blood Elf’s. The hunters even got bigger mail boots they could use. Rogues got smaller gloves if wanted. The set is actually good for them. It’s got two checked of how to wear it. Pants or robe. Not just robe.
Dark iron work at the forge. It makes sense they’d have a certain type of metal armor.
It doesn’t ‘scream demon hunter’ either, but I’ve been using this set on my demon hunter since I got it.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they do this, given we saw it before. Maybe it’s something we will see closer to the end (Assuming Tyrande does anything more, like I dunno kick Sylvana’s butt, or the Night Elves get a huge fist bump moment).
I know it wouldn’t fit like Priests (Druids are a maybe honestly), but the Blood Elves ones seem weird on warriors and paladins too given they are fighting in a dress. I presume it’s the same for the Dwarves. (I am surprised they didn’t just do small alterations to fit each class)

Again they get a pant and top choice. It’s no just a robe choice for blood elfs.
Starting to think the two who keep thinking robe only, have not actually seen the finished set. It’s got pants and robe options. It’s not just a robe for a choice but a top and pants one to.

I get that there’s a pants set. No disputing it. I also understand you can mix and match other sets to make it fit any class. Someone mentioned smaller gloves for rogues or larger mail boots for hunters. That’s fine and all. I’m just speaking of the way the heritage armor, pants or robe, looks as a whole without any player modifications to its appearance by swapping some pieces out with non heritage armor items.
Does the heritage belf armor, robe or pants, look demon hunter like or what about death knight? Monk? To me it does not. I’m only saying that heritage armor isn’t meant to represent every class within a race. It’s meant to best represent the overall race. All of the current heritage armor sets work very well for their race in general but not necessarily every class in the race without swapping out some pieces or flat out hiding some. IMO the “loin” cloth nelf set looks amazing for nelfs and I want it badly. Maybe people can mix those pieces with other sets to make it work for their class as being suggested with others?
IMO the belf armor using pants instead of robe and not hiding any slots nor replacing any pieces looks weird, at least on the males. Tiny, skinny chicken legs, into some crazy shoulders. With robe is the only way any male belf should wear it. To each there own though.

DH and DK are heroic classes. They don’t need to fit the heritage armor idea in the end. Monks are also something different. Heritage armor seems to be made for the base classes, not the classes that go added after vanilla.
Those added classes do have at or they fire them perfectly.
