Nice to see queue syncing in regular bgs

Yeah I vaguely remember that being a thing; but they may need to backtrack and favor fairness over expediency. If you’re in a group, your queues just might need to be longer for the sake of fairness. Theres no reason I should be playing against the same 5 stack for three games in a row when I’m solo queueing; there’s no reason our queue times should be the same.

Completely agree. If players want to play in groups and not do rated, they should be facing other groups.

That said, they should just fix the problem completely. If they got rid of factions, balancing around any 5 man group or smaller would be easy. It’s such a painfully simple solution.

The current Mercenary mode disproves this by the way. The scale would tilt to one side over the other; with almost complete certainty towards the solo player queue. Most players are not grouped when they play random battlegrounds; so I highly doubt it would double their queue times, if anything it would add like a minute to their queue time. The grouped players queue time may double in which they have two options: wait in the queue for a game or break the group up and just queue solo. The same thing that happens when Alliance players want shorter queues so they merc to Horde. Mercenary mode did not ‘double’ actual Horde players queue times.

IS it really premades? I say there are a handful of actual players controlling AI bots. Why do i say this? so the Bgs keep popping. Otherwise there would be 2 hour queues. There literally cant be premades 24/7 - its baked into the wow game play now. it really isnt neck beards queueing 4:00 am - something else is happening. How do you think they trained their training ground bots?

The bots in the game have always been obvious. They are either awful and scripted or way over the top. The premades are obvious. I don’t think they’re queueing at 4:00 am though. I’m queueing during peak times and that’s when I see them the most. Sometimes on the weekend, but it’s mostly weekdays.

When I was solo-grinding Seething Shore achievements every night at like, 1 AM the Australian prime-time would start and I would lose and lose and lose lol.

Full disclosure, I’ve queue synced regular BGs a few times for achievements. Mine Cart Courier and Resilient Victory are a pain even with a full premade against PUGs. It is concerning though that it’s happening more and for non-targeted needs.

But even absent premades you can still end up with hilariously lopsided w/l ratios, REflex says I’m 37-6 in Silvershard Mines which even I believed was from premades until I looked up the dates of the wins (2017-2026) against the dates my achievements were earned (2015).

Just for your information Action leaves pvp that he’s losing LOL

Oh for sure. I know that has to be some of it. I wish leaving a BG automatically counted as a loss. Need to include that in the requests to fix this garbage.

looky looky welcome back!

How is it “commonplace” in randoms? It’s exceptionally rare in regular BGs

People playing well does not = queue syncing. People in gear does not = queue syncing. Any amount of coordination does not = queue syncing. What a wild, incorrect take. You’re going to see queue syncing everywhere if that’s all you go off of

I only know of one group who syncs in randoms, and the vast majority of the time they aren’t syncing. It happens, but not often

Huh? Ya I’m not sure why I came back though, just the same lowlifes making excuses for killing the game. Blizzard simply doesn’t care, the put more effort into the shop than the game.

I was in a blitz last night, one of the healers said they were in discord with the other healer.

This wasn’t even at a very high mmr. It was like 1600-1800 area.

For the most part, I would agree, it had been. I have repeatedly said that to you in the past.

I expect this sort of take from you. Nothing wild about it. It’s becoming more common. Also, nothing incorrect about it either. Regardless of what you want to say, it’s happening on some level.

Even if you want to argue that it just HAPPENS to be multiple 5 mans, it’s still something I’m seeing more of. Regardless, balance is still an issue. If you want to disagree on the source of the problem, so be it, but the problem still persists and from my vantage point is getting worse.

And, honestly, I expect your take from you. Just because something is possible doesn’t mean it’s happening. You look for it to be happening, so you see what you want to see

Again, just because it’s possible doesn’t mean what you’re saying is correct. Nothing you mentioned in that list of “proof” that they’re sync queuing is even proof of sync queueing.

“Some level” is not the same thing as saying it’s “commonplace”. I already said it happens on some level: rarely. Syncing in randoms exists, it has for a long time. But just because teams have gear and play decently well doesn’t mean they’re syncing. How absurd

You know I premade in groups of up to 5 and I promise you we get other groups of 5 on our team with us. So yes, of course I would argue that, because I didn’t sync with them, it was dumb luck

By your logic, if my group of 5 got 5 geared and decent pugs you would consider us a syncing premade. We would be geared, have coordination and play well. That makes no sense, because we don’t sync our queues

Yes, balance has always been an issue. I’m not disagreeing with that, I’m disagreeing that you’re seeing boogeyman sync queue groups around every corner.

It’s not the player’s fault for playing the game with people that they want to play with. It’s a poorly designed queue system that does a poor job of forcing groups to fight other groups

It was very nice on the forums while your ilk wasn’t around. Players were happy and had good conversations… guess were back to the same old ehh?

It’s a pretty simple process of deduction.

Yea, that goes both ways. Barely looks like you’re actively playing the game right now. I get this is your golden calf and it must not be touched, but the rest of us just want to have a fun and fair game, which you actively avoid.

Useless screeching.

More screeching.

My guy, you do everything you can to avoid a challenge. We’re essentially playing different games.

Anyone have a mirror?

I mean we’re pretty late in the season and a lot of people just crate farm their way to full gear.
idk I’m just skeptical but I would love to see some proof. If you’re tracking names or whatever that would be neat.

I’m pretty sure epic BG participation has been declining a lot for a number of reasons (performance, nobody likes slayer’s rise, etc) so maybe some of the queue syncing groups from that are bleeding over into regs.
I just haven’t seen any sign of it, at least as a thing people do regularly and intentionally.

I think it’s just less fresh blood filtering through the queues.
What has been pretty annoying though is I get a lot of sessions where I am with a premade one game, then against one the next game, and it keeps going on like that without ever matching the groups against each other.

idk about all that

As long as that process of deduction ends in what you’re looking for, an excuse on why you lost. Right?

By screaming about non-existent sync queue groups? That isn’t going to solve anything, because the issue is moot. You’re just kicking and screaming about an issue that isn’t an issue, because you lost a random BG

Funny, the useless screeching was this post. Notice how quickly you went from “Sync queue groups are commonplace in randoms” to “maybe they aren’t commonplace but they exist” to “maybe they’re 5 man groups” to angry attacks

Wouldn’t expect an actual discussion from you. “agree with everything I say or else”

There are plenty of good challenges while in premades in randoms

Could be for sure. I’m sure it’s a lot of reasons. It’s not something I had seen in the past, or at least nothing I would have said was a queue sync group. Random groups of 5 have always been a thing and if anything, I’d just as easily wager they were more popular in the past. I don’t know if something has changed, but in the past few weeks since I start doing regulars more, it seems obvious what’s happening.

And yes, I’d agree that some proof would be good, but that’s on Blizz to sort. In the end, even if this isn’t what’s happening, the end result is still the same. Balance is awful and I think that’s pushing players to find other means for wins.

Yea, overall, ruins the game. I don’t want to be in a group doing the stomping or in a group being stomped. If anything, I’m fine with being on the weaker side, as long as it’s a meaningful challenge. So many games end up at the GY. It’s awful.
