If it weren’t for Bobrovsky, Oilers would’ve had that game. Hats off to Bob on the shutout. We’ll see how tomorrow goes.
The series is probably on the line for Edmonton tomorrow. They go down 2-0, and they are cooked. There is no way they are beating Florida 4 out of 5 games if that happens.
Two things will be big. The first period has been huge for Edmonton and not so good for Florida in these playoffs, but went in Florida’s favor last night. Edmonton has to lead early because Florida just gets stronger as the games go on. They also have to find some other options. I know it’s in the hands of McDavid and Draisaitl, but they got a lot of ice time which could reallywear them out as it goes forward.

Edmonton just up against it on every level now. Bullied again, and totally lost their composure. They will get a huge energy boost at home, but I don’t know how they crack the Florida defense.
Yeah, Oilers certainly have their work cut out for 'em now. They could still come back, but not if they can’t get past Florida’s defense, as you said.
Florida just has all the answers. There really isn’t much more to say than that.

Yep. Got to the end of the game and it’s like…welp, that’s that then.
So counting the regular season, Florida basically mugged Edmonton 5 times in a row before they finally got their game going. So I guess the question is if this is a momentary blip, or can they keep it going a little longer.
It’s really amazing watching how this series has done a complete turnaround. Edmonton is almost all the way back, and it seemed like that was an impossibility. Watch sports long enough, and you will see everything eventually.
It had quite a few twists and turns, but Florida was able to get back to their identity and execute their game. Super tough team that has been building to this for a few years.
