This is an extremely welcome change.
Unfortunately, the most I’ve been able to solo is 1-mask. But on the upside I should finally get Gift this week and with that I hope to be able to solo more masks.
Even with guaranteed corruption items this doesn’t entice me what so ever to run visions.

I mean I get why they are doing this; but if someone is not enjoying visions I don’t see them bothering with this. Considering it’s going to take an eternity to wear two 75 corruption pieces it’s kinda pointless at this point in the patch.

Visions are not interesting to me. Actually I think visions would be okay if they were not tied to the cloak. So, to be more precise the cloak is the problem when it is forced at the tail end of an expansion.
now can you please allow us to get some different gear slots instead of only bracers, belts and boots?

I’d definitely run more characters through 8.3 content if they could just use essences I’ve already acquired. As it is, I log off once I’m done with whatever I want to do on this guy.
BFA as a whole has just been somewhat frustrating because Blizzard rolls out these game changing systems that are poorly thought out.
They should already know how players feel about locking extremely powerful items behind RNG like legendaries in Legion.
You mean you dont want to gather a bunch of corruption gear you cant use anyways?
Well maybe you can use that extra piece at the end of the xpac. You better do your weekly guarantees tho.
Yea… stupid system is stupid. I have TD3 heroic sword from N’zoth and a minor thing that keep me just under 40 corruption. I have IS2 pants sitting in my bank I can’t wear cause it puts me at like 100 corruption. I’m not going to do nzoth + a vision for 2-3 months just so I can equip something that would have been sitting in my bag for 4 months at that point.

Thanks for doing something about this. I’m still not a fan of the system, but at least this might help a little.
Not sure who this is… but just because you feel you HAVE to use a certain corruption item, it doesnt mean you have to re-spec. Just dont use the item. If anything this change will give you more opportunities to get the corruption you are looking for on your main spec. I’ve yet to get a Severe trait as a BM hunter and I perform just fine in Raid and Mythic + damage wise, even against players who have BiS corruptions, BM Hunters with Severe included. BiS corruption is a luxury, not a need. Be happy they gave you more ways of getting it.
It’s not ONE person making the decisions at Blizzard, it’s many people, and while you may not care, they also have a family to feed. It’s a business at the end of it all. If you dont enjoy the content you do not have to participate in it. They are trying new things to give the game some life because clearly they feel the game is not keeping up with faster paced games like League/Fortnite/Call of duty and whatever else you can think of. They’ll correct along the way. Greatness isn’t created overnight.
I’m really confused.
If they have a family to feed, why don’t they make content people want to play so more people will subscribe? Doing some RNG +/- stats on gear isn’t exactly paving new paths here.

Why not? That’s the whole point of clearing N’zoth and continue doing visions. You work toward the ultimate goal which is being able to equip that amazing corruption. I dont get it.
Why do you need the corruption you’re looking for? can you answer that?
Because corruption is literally what’s getting people into mythic raid spots right now and letting people push arena ratings for free.
