you are a high elf, and void elves have the option to look like an easter egg. they literally happened twice now
Not the way people want them Good.
Swap out High Elves with Saberon and Iâm fine with it.
Just. Freaking. STOP. Theyâre already giving void elves almost everything that blood elves have short of two of their classes and their capital city (but the high elf crowd wants all of that, too). There is nothing high elves have left thatâs not already covered by the other four playable elves, so what little chance there previously was of them becoming playable is gone.
The ogresâ time in the sun has passed. Your average player is no longer interested in the race thatâs more or less âfatter, stupider orcs except when theyâre smarter than normal due to arcane exposure, at which point theyâre just fat, hairless highborne elvesâ.
To be blunt, the 15+ year obsession with these two particular races becoming playable needs to end once and for all. The ones who would drop a load in their pants if they were finally added come off as the kind of people who drink water with every meal and only play Mario or Luigi in every Mario sports game.
Too mechanically intensive to bother, not happening. The dev team canât flip a switch and merge every existing allied race character with their parent race while also deleting what racials, voices, etc. they had.
Ethereals arenât happening anyway because theyâre not mortals. Theyâre not native to Azeroth, or marooned there like the orcs and draenei, they would have no reason to fight for it. They donât even leave behind a proper corpse when they die, they just dissipate and leave their armor behind, so logically they wouldnât be able to run back to their corpse and self-resurrect like a mortal, and resurrection spells wouldnât work on them.
Donât worry, they wonât, for the reasons I stated above. The most the high elf crowd can do is play a void elf with as close a high elf look as possible, and if they want to be a paladin, theyâll have to play a warrior and wear a paladin mog.
STOP. ASKING. FOR. MORE.
Until you finish everything on your plate.
Iâd absolutely love it.
But no, it wont happen, sadly.
Say the fox race that was randomly added last expansion. Never heard of Vulpera until thenâŠ
Personally Iâd love to see Wildhammer Dwarves get the full Allied Race treatment Dark Iron Dwarves have gotten. Thatâs a dream come true.
As for new core races, Ogres for Horde are wayâŠway long overdue and id love to see Tuskarr for Alliance, Alliance need a new âBeastâ Race and I think Tuskarrâs fit in nicely with Alliance.
But Iâm a strong advocate for more races regardless, the more the merrier.
Yes on Sethrak being playable; no on them being Neutral.
The Sethrak are amicable with the Horde.
Groovy. Horde players are overwhelmingly against Ogres being a playable race - for Horde anyway. Alliance players love it, so let them have them.
What if, rather than just creating more dwarven races (and really Dark Irons werent necessary) how about if they created an option to create a dwarf and allow you to assign it to a dwarven clan? So they could have made Dark Iron, Wildhammer, etc). And that would enable you to have specific appearances and so on for the clan your Dwarf was loyal to.
Naga!
I want to be a Naga Siren so bad.
Letâs get some Vrykul on the Alliance and Ogres on the Horde, maybe even some Tuskarr as another neutral choice. That would be pretty lit
I suggested this in BFA when Dark Irons came!, it never got traction :(, but I do support this! And which clan you pick changes your racial title, for example it would say âWildhammer Dwarf Shamanâ.
Where??? Iâve only ever seen overwhelming love for them. And technically Ogres are a Horde race. Just not represented in WoW much.
This.
Allied races was a dumb idea.
It shouldâve been what theyâve done with SL from the get-go. More customization options so we can do the RP ourselves.
Easier to balance this way too.
Also - it adds an alternative form of rewards. Imagine a mage tower like challenge that gave you customization option 1.
I doubt folks would have been up in arms if exalted highmountain rep gave you moose horn option via barbershop (instead of the priveledge of buying a race change or making a new toon outright - seriously whoâs idea was this).
Well, thereâs the Allerian Stronghold in Outland, the lodge in the Hinterlands, another in Loch Modan, there were quite a number that were with Theramore, no idea where they went, if they died, or just got absorbed into the Silver Covenant or not.
theres 1 elf there
there were a few there for sure. maybe a couple priests and a mage. these were the priests that stayed behind to help the wounded after the second war and followed jaina around even when she set sail for kalimdor and founded theramore
so they wouldnt have abandoned her or theramore when it came under attack. they would have helped with its defense. they thought they had a chance. even the kirin tor thought it was worth trying to defend and tried to intervene. so ofc theyre dead
Arenât there multiple threads from copium-abusers flaunting how they get to play high elves in 9.1.5?
