Please give serious thought to how well healers can progress. It’s the defining aspect of the character I chose to play, and not a niche one at that. It’s not fun to feel forced to go to an offspec, or to feel tethered to a group of friends who probably want to use half of their limited runs for their own solo efforts.
Torghast has the potential to be a really fun mode. I hope a major part of the player base don’t feel like they’re an afterthought.
If you didn’t already, please make a tanking power that turns tanking specs into a DPS-like spec or something. It’s always been my dream to deal damage again as a Blood DK.
RIP DPS Blood, Wrath-Wrath.
I watched a Blood DK in the N’Zoth world 1st top not only the damage meters but the healing meters too. These are top 10 world class players and a tank is beating the DPS and Heals.
Was a sight to see.
Not sure what you were watching since their Blood DK was only above healers for DPS lol.
Also below all the healers for actual heals.
He was top 3 for both for an amount of time iirc, which caught my attention. But certainly just using it as an example of how potent Blood can be.
Not trying to suggest anything more than that darling and for sure I could off some here but again, just an example I had on hand, only one I had actually lol.
That’s likely because for certain parts of the fight only the tank is dealing damage.
It was still impressive, the rest of the team thought so too. If top 10 world class players can be impressed I’m pretty sure I can be too.
I’m not really impressed by extreme gameplay. I’d rather just enjoy the game how I play with my friends.

I totally get that bud, and it is in fact the best way to enjoy the game, if you ask me.
Stay safe my friend!

For background, I am a longtime(14 years) casual player so I personally don’t care if you cap the rewards per week but I would hate to only do maybe 10 runs per toon a week. I like the system overall and would play it on all classes/specs but it needs to have unlimited attempts and capped resource gain, here’s why:
The whole point of this system seems to be wacky overpowered gameplay if you can pick a central build that works well with your class/spec. If the attempts are limited or require time to get keys for (even if it is easy) every time you get a bad set of starter powers in the early floors, the whole run will feel terrible because you will have to either abandon the run when it gets to a hard enough section or try to make up for the bad early floors’ powers by taking your time and waiting for cooldowns. Due to the limited nature of the keys this will feel almost the same as ‘dead keys’ for M+ except that you won’t be able to make up for that loss and you will lose out on some crazy fun gameplay even if your resources are capped for the week.
I would rather have unlimited attempts but only be able to get X amount of benefit from it per week. With unlimited attempts it would not matter if a run went bad and some re-entering or waiting might occur with people really wanting to min-max, however for people just wanting their resources for the week they could just blast through it or the starting power could be tweaked to always be something class impactful or give more than 1 power at the start.
Torghast is meant to be fun and it is, extremely so, I do not play any high end content or difficult group content and the only keybinding I have is for interrupts but Torghast offers a solo/group experience so engaging that I am actively leveling at least 2 of every class just to try out different combinations of Covenants and builds inside of it. This system is a fun way to play without having to worry about spell balance or if a player can perform a perfect rotation, please do not limit how many times players can run Torghast because at this point I would rather do Torghast for fun rather than do M+ for rewards.
Would much rather Have 3 person scenarios like they had in Mists Of Pandaria, than horrific visions 2.0.
its much worse than that i fear, with the worst part being the stink of a f2p just wait it will be micro purchases and daily log in rewards next… a tower? i just dont know … maybe time has come to an end finally.
