venthyr looks pretty useful for a frost dk that runs Breath.
You arenât forced. A MINUSCULE dps difference will not break your gameplay. You will still be able to do ALL the content.
This is just going to be Aldor / Scryer all over again.
HOW ARE YOU MAKING THIS MISTAKE AGAIN. HOW. HOW DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING. DONâT TIE THIS SYSTEM TO POWER / ABILITIES / BUILDS.
Wrong, none of us actually care what heroic raiders or pvperâs or whatever content or play others do, you can do whatever the hell you want, we just want it so when we play as optimally as possible.
Itâs not us that make you guys copy us, itâs them wanting to do as much as they can too and would try to do everything to be as strong as they are
I personally hope they make it covenant performance spells can be unlocked or swappable because Last thing I want is to have to use a covenant I donât like because thatâs the price to pay for playing optimally, you guys are getting way too defensive to keep it as it is, but will be the first ones to complain or the last to accept this will lower the quality of this expansion, blizzard sticking hard to their guns and ignoring feedback left us with BFA, are you sure you want that to happen again?
Because ignoring giving feedback on something so core to character progression and personal identity is kinda why blizzard made so many changes coming into shadowlands, if it wasnât such a problem they wouldnât have done all of these changes
Is not having the best build being prepared?
these are the same people that on the classic forums tell you you need to learn to play if you want to play a meme spec or if your talent points arenât exactly a specific way you donât deserve to raid or do any content. they take all the fun out of the game with this crap.
no. Because you build your character how you want to play. Doing that wonât mean you canât complete the content. Doing things such as not wearing appropriate gear for the difficulty level or ignoring gems/echants/buffs however is not being prepared.
MMk, check profile. Been raiding mythic since EN in Legion. The kind of people you play with at a mythic level all want to complete the hardest content. If you are purposefully choosing bad abilities/talents/gear because you want to play that way, then youâll very quickly end up not mythic raiding. Someone with that mindset wouldnât even make it raiding to begin with. Mythic raiders donât play the game that way. They play it to be as good as they can be.
Except sometimes it wonât let you complete the content.
For example, I like the idea of Ravager as my tier 7 talent.
After wiping 11 times on a fight though, Iâll probably have to switch to Anger Management because it will help the team out more.
And when it gets down to those 2-3% wipes, you can be sure raid leads are going to be looking into peoples builds.
âIf you spend a period of time idle, the Frenzy overcomes you, consuming a percentage of your health per stack, stunning you, and then ending.â
A negative effect? Really? Way to ensure no Druid ever picks Venthyr. WTH?
most people donât mythic raid. why should something so flavorful and fun be ruined for everyone because of the tiny amount of people that mythic raid? what makes you think youâre so important?
No. Players that want to be the best of the best play the game that way. Players that want to play the highest difficulty content however can play the way they want to and complete the content.
Yeah, and if you do what you want you will end up doing content with people just like that, a lot of us donât want to settle for worse progression just to have a little more flare.
I am not going to get into a great guild by being less optimal than my opposition just because I can, that means I canât get into the progression guilds I want because others definitely will, this isnât some mystical problem with mythic raiders, this is just the truth of how people work.
The answer is to pick the one that wonât get you ostracized from group content.
If that teleport allows trash skips, RIP everyone but Venthyr.
You are clearly wrong, not every Mythic raider is the same.
most people donât mythic raid. why should something so flavorful and fun be ruined for everyone because of the tiny amount of people that mythic raid? what makes you think youâre so important?
You never answered my question. Why punish ANYONE with a system that you design from the ground up, especially those players who like you game enough to work at the hardest content? Why not design a system that gives flavor AND doesnât punish higher end players?
alternatively you can come back another day with better gear after you have earned it and down the boss.
So looked at the shaman ones. Iâm eager to see what the last two are. The first ones look neat and useful at the same time. Iâm eager to see the others.
You are clearly wrong, not every Mythic raider is the same.
Sorry, good mythic raiders try their best, equip the best gear/items/talent specs and abilities so they can perform the best and not hold their raid team back.
You must be in the other group
Kyrian Magic has been called Vesper(Latin for Night) in the Blizzcon Demo(which is why the Shaman get Vesper Totems) and furthermore the Jailer resembles a Kyrian according to leaked ArtâŚ
https://static.icy-veins.com/forum-files/uploads/monthly_2019_11/2024064645_thejailer.png.08767b7c9b0584434f4824a89cef5e76.png
The Jailer is the God of Night AKA the friend of Muehâzala the God of Death, Son of Time and Father of Sleep.
The Gods of Night, Death and Sleep are the Villains of Shadowlands while the Arbiter(who is older than the Titans) is the Big Good(at least until the Jailer dies since as NâZoth says: âThe fall of night reveals her true face. She will bring only ruin.â).
What the God of Time will be doing is unknown as he is the father of Muehâzala yet he seems more tied to the Arcane Realm(since Time is Arcane Magic) rather than the Death Realm. I have no doubt that the Arcane Realm Expansion will feature Muehâzalaâs Father seeking revenge for the Jailerâs demise.
