I prefer to think of it more as I already have a 6 month sub recurring so I get free goodies as a result. I’m already spending the sub money if Blizz wants to give me extras good on then.

At least bfa have the best mounts.

I’ve always had a 6 month sub on the backburner for my subscription but had a ton of WoW tokens that I redeemed for time a while back. No mount on login. 
Wish I could refund tokens so that I could pay for the 6 month sub now and get the mount and use tokens after.
That is entirely beside the point. Everyone can buy it.
What if you buy 180 day gametime?
I had a recurring sub and just cancelled it when I decided I wasn’t going to play for a while. If I want to “re” sub it’ll take the $77 dollars immediately and extend my time another 6 months…so now I have 5 1/2 months to go with no mount.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing, not going to get sucked in a 3rd time, boosting subs by offering a mount doesn’t mean people are subbing because they are happy, and TBH if they have to add it, perhaps they need to re-consider alot of the “Stances” they have/are making.
It’s not beside the point when that is exactly what you were complaining about…
That you pay the same six months just not at one time. You can get the mount without the all at once 6 month sub payment.

No, you can’t. In order to set up a new sub it’s $85 bucks up front to start the sub. I can cancel it, but it’d be essentially paying $170 for a year, some of which I won’t be active, just for a mount.
But I already said whatever, I just won’t have it. Not that big a deal, just annoying.

You can just buy the mount without the sub for $25 dollars. You don’t need to set up a subscription. You don’t even need to buy game time. Heck, you can use tokens converted to BNet Balance and buy the mount with gold…you don’t even have to spend any money at all.
So if you already paid for 6 months you can still get the mount. For no money. With gold.
If you’re not even playing, why do you care anyway? And if you’re going to be playing, why wouldn’t you take advantage of the $2/month discount and free mount?

Blizz just emailed me saying if it is not recurring sub time you are not eligible squeaker with just a 6 month purchase. I can still purchase it for $25 after I just spent $86. Blizz used to take care of it’s players… now they’re used car salesmen.
On top of the invested dollars over the years they can’t even release playable content. Shame. Bring the QA team back and maybe keep your player base.

I guess it sort of cleared up how it ended up in my mailbox, because my subscription isn’t supposed to renew until May since i extended the deadline using a couple 60-day game time cards i got cheap off Amazon.
