I don’t really stay up to date with every detail and update and I wanted to know if there where any inputs on plans to fix the issue of Alliance premade groups rotting Random BGs?
It’s actually a very unpleasant thing to log in for fun during the second half of the day as Alliance and just have most matches just handed out to you by a premade group they put you with without even getting to play at all because Horde won’t leave the spawn, or log in as Horde and lose 7/10 matches, take what seems too long to notice you’re not having any fun and just do something else.
Losing as Horde or as any faction actually doesn’t feel ugly when you get to play and genuinely compete; this isn’t what any game should be like, matches feel like an engaging match are rare.
On top of that the way the system rewards you nearly nothing for losing just feeds the imbalance further, it rewards Alliance players for abusing the game, and if they’re topped up in gear, it punishes and delay Horde players into picking Alliance instead, I literally just log into an Alliance character to start earning honor currencies and what not unless it’s an odd day or hour. So I’m not sure if there will be changes on that as well.
Maybe they cant stop Horde players from leaving since a few expansions ago but there are several fixes and adaptations they could’ve done a long while already to make the subscription actually be an expense that you get fun out of and not just an impotence trip every time you naively log in.
And please don’t do the “that doesn’t happen” gaslight that some game devs reply with in the forums pretending to be players so they don’t have to work or fire anyone doing the “blame the costumer” Blizzard thing again; we can all see it happen every day and I’m not the first one to post about it in the forum today or any other day I picked.
I tried posting screenshots and data but apparently I also have to grind the right to post photos and links on Blizzard forums, my subscription doesn’t cover that either.
I just want to know what’s the news to see if I see myself playing after the Midnight thing.
I’ve played every WoW expansion since the base game, I’ve played Warcraft since Warcraft II when there wasn’t even battlenet. I’m older than you although I have less time than you to play, I tell because you main Alliance. But none of that has nothing to do with it since you mentioned your age, I don’t care who you are, you and who you are or who I am have nothing to do with the question yet you suddenly are talking about guesses on me and your age as reasons.
I actually don’t think I’m playing against kids that have “done this for 20 years” because most of them have left, I’m the only fool among my friends still subbing from time to time. I know for a fact most of them don’t know the game since that long ago, most that do are disillusioned with it and forgot about it several expansions ago.
I had already anticipated in the post the “that doesn’t happen” gaslight because I already know that for every complaint in blizzard forums the first few comments will be the toxic damage control maneuvers, but I guess that was not enough to get replies that address the question. Today, that issue exists, if I was a new player or lived in a bird nest with a bear that plays Starcraft since the death of Nixon, the issue exists too.
This is an every day thing, you can ask in game, you can search the issue online and A LOT of battlenet forum posts talking about premades and alliance premades will pop up. Please don’t do this, “it’s anyone who complains’s fault” replies make no sense to everyone else and we know they’re there on each post.
I just want to know if anyone knows the devs have decided to acknowledge it and if there will be changes, please at least leave replying for those who do.
Alliance get it’s fair share of terrible games. Grouping the issue into the opposite faction all the time is extreme cope. That being said, I do agree that it has gotten out of hand. At least Q syncing. Regular 5 man groups? Not a huge deal. Most of them aren’t the best players anyway. Just take a friend with you and dunk on them; since you have been playing so long: should be easy for you.
Right now I’m trying to have a casual “chill” time in WoW during a weekend, I didn’t even bring out the subject in the very last BG and theres already people talking about how easy it is on their alliance characters because they get placed with premades all the time.
Srry you can’t gaslight me into thinking “the problem is me” and change such a huge subject about this game into all me; you say “nobody asked for your wow resume” but apparently for you it is the only thing that matters, you even looked it up.
My point exactly is that it is irrelevant: My Wow Resume is Irrelevant. The problem is everyone’s experience every day, not just mine, and I know it wasn’t like this before, if “before” matters at all. Even if it had always been like this, it would still be bad, just since longer ago.
Next time, your point will be on my basket weaving skills, so long we can pretend nothing needs to be fixed and there’s no offensively massive blue elephant in the room.

As far as we all know, they never plan to do anything about it.
The people trying to gaslight aren’t Blizzard employees. They are just queue syncers who think the rest of us are stupid enough to believe them when they say queue syncing isn’t a problem.
You can post links by wrapping them in 2 backticks or whatever they are called, the ` key next to the 1 key on your keyboard. Like so
I hear Alliance have more queue sync premades but Horde gets them too, especially if the Alliance ones merc queue. Also due to the way, well, MATH works, solo players on both factions are more likely to face a queue sync premade on the enemy team than to have one on their own team, assuming equal numbers of queue sync premades running.
Queue syncers will argue with basic math of course, but they’ll literally argue with you over anything. I could post “I love puppies” and one of them would accuse me of hating cats, one would accuse me of never having a dog, and one would accuse me of hating pets.
Just remember that most queue sync premades run during certain days and times, so if a player doesn’t usually play during those times, they won’t encounter many queue sync premades. So while it may be a problem, not everyone will experience it.
And yeah the problem aren’t 5 player groups. The matchmaker just needs to do a better job putting them vs another group.
Your common sense gave me so much relief, I was beginning to feel like quitting the internet and people altogether. Trying to be a real person gets so lonely.
Thanks for replying I wanted to know what to expect and I couldn’t find any of the tons of posts on it mentioning any upcoming fixes.
My point exactly is that most matches on any faction are terrible because of the damage done by premades and how that damage is encouraged in the system. I don’t enjoy winning most bgs on my alliance characters like I might as well not even play the match at all. That’s not what you play online games for, it breaks the point to not have to compete for victory. Needless to say to get so high on impotence by losing most horde matches just sitting at the spawn waiting to get another match without a premade. I have to spend too much time in WoW that you don’t always have to get a single match that is a normal online experience.

But I’m the one doing “extreme cope”? Sounds like you’re the one coping, that’s what that kind of gaslight is: coping. “Out of hand” even seems like an euphemism, pointless matches with premades in them are the theme of Random Battlegrounds for the greater part of the day.
I mean, you hit the nail on the head. They are pointless matches. Random BG’s are the most casual thing you can do in this game, with the fewest rewards. Just honor… and practice.
Don’t get me wrong, I spam BGs quite frequently for the fun of it. Do I win a lot? Nah, though sometimes I surprise even myself. I just go in to have a good time, even if I go on losing streaks.
I already said that Q syncing is out of hand. Where multiple premade groups queue together. You missed my point. I -do- think that should stop. But regular 5 mans? Nah. It’s a hoot getting a bunch of my intoxicated friends together and smashing our heads into some random BGs for a while. It will never change. If you want balanced games all the time, go to Blitz.

You would think that rage nails in someone’s brain would turn them into a easy to kill berserker but in the setting of 40k it usually makes them so powerful they can overcome tactics and strategy through sheer girth.
The nails were not meant to just fry someones brain though they only did that to angron cause they forced them in in a extremely crude fashion cause they didn’t fit.
Kinda odd that these exploiters show up in droves on the forums to defend this abomination. You’re getting zero competition and winning one-sided matches into teams with zero chance of ever winning. It’s like being proud of yourself for beating games while using cheat codes. What kind of braindead person gets dopamine from doing this crap? It would be hilarious if it weren’t so sad….
I mean if you’re sub honor level 30 I doubt you even are running into premades. Honor level 30 and below get put into their own bracket. Anyone in the game over honor level 30 can’t be brought down into that bracket, they can only bring people sub 30 up to the regular bracket
So unless you’re in your own premade and are being brought up to the regular bracket…
