Well, it would seem the majority, and a clear majority at that, disagree with you. And not to be āwitchyā, but if the end game in your opinion is garbageā¦ why do you even play? And why would you want anything extra? But thatās just an opinion and thought based on the comments.

You canāt have an account with just MoP or WoD any more.
They are saying that starter accounts, account with game time and not BfA, and accounts with game time and BfA all get the bonus.

A fair assessment. The boost to leveling itself isnāt inherently bad a thingā¦ but I think itās unnecessary (thereās ample sources of XP) and addressing the wrong issue. Still, I guess for some people it is providing an incentive to do some leveling content; maybe itās something they wouldnāt have done otherwise without being prodded/suggested by this announcement.
Iām trying to make a point to dispel the myth that the endgame is the only thing āworth playing forā, especially in its current form.
Leveling doesnāt need much fixing, the biggest issues seem to be:
- Thereās currently ātoo muchā of it with several expansions worth of stuff to doā¦ which is debatable, and comes back to the idea that it gets in the way of the endgame.
- You end up out-leveling the content before youāre completed it, which has been partially addressed. The boosted XP is probably going to put this back where we were before.
The massive 100% boost to leveling XP just seems to serve only one practical purpose ā accelerating people towards the endgame, which is currently in shambles and needs some MAJOR fixes. Boosts to reduce the associated grinds with those endgame systems would be band-aids at best, but would still be helpful in some regard.
If it was an incentive to do more leveling, a more modest boost would have been appropriate. 50% at most, probably better to go with 25%.
At the end of the day, I want WoW to be a good game.
But the recent trends seem to be systematically dismantling the rest of the game to support over-glorified endgame and push them more and more towards it.

Since no one answered when I asked, yes, it stacks with the Monk EXP Buff.
So on a monk, you can have +200% exp with heirlooms and the buff.

I agree totally.
What is totally boring about Vision is the set timers and yes the low rewards for leveling up everything you need to get to that great Boss is the lamest raid-dungeon crawl ever.
Aaah, 3 stages that take hours if nobody knows all the exactly corrector pecking order of taking down the boss or is it the add-ons or the corruptors minions.
Do or donāt attack those when the boss is turning around looking northā¦be on the south side then?
How fricking lame is all that crap instead of a straight on attacking boss one time and end of stupid multi-layered boss fights that take hours??
As far as Visions go it is your basic Rep-riding-simulator with a TIMER???

Wake-up it is a lame substitute for creating actually game content that follows a real story lineā¦same with dungeons that take us back to World of Waiting again.
Waiting at least one hour to get into lame boss fight.

So far, it looks like EVERYTHING is stacking. Looms, the draught, rested, and guild bonus. Havenāt quested, so Iām unsure on war mode, but I did manage 10 levels in 2.25 hours on a fresh 20 MG (no rest).

I donāt usually level alts since I really only have time to keep up my 2 main toons, but with this I think I might finally level up my Dark Iron Dwarf and get that heritage armor. TY BLIZZ FOR DOING THIS TO GIVE EVERYONE A BIT OF A PICK ME UP!

Leveling is as near as dull as knowing weāll have to jump through 100 hoops per toon before weāre even remotely viable.
There seems to be a lot of people who are enjoying this. Just because you donāt want to make use of it doesnāt mean others wonāt.
If that is the way you feel about the game right now, maybe you should take a break from it.
it is a bonus because of the world circumstances right now, it isnāt intended to āfixā anything. Just give people who are at home something to do.
