Fire plays completely different in pvp and m+ if that helps.
Pvp = cc spam between combusts, and rush combusts back up with fireball in like 40 seconds. No flamestrike, no scorching unless for movement.
Pve = hardcasting flamestrike all day between combusts, and then scorch sniping mobs under 30% for more flamestrikes.
Your sustain rotation is different, your combust rotations are different. It plays a lot differently, I enjoy changing between the two if that helps at all.
It’s really fun being able to have big CD attempts so regularly in pvp, and then just fireball and CC to rush it back before their defensives reset. And in m+ it’s very refreshing having that 1min CD damage profile. It’s not often you can’t plan ahead and have combust whenever you need it.
