Agree. I played ESO for almost a year and just couldn’t get past not being able to use my mouse without using mouse mode and targeting was always a pain.

Oh cool. A game that looks like guild wars; a thing I already didn’t play.
Never really paid attention to it since it was forced world pvp
apparently the beta or what ever had so much toxic chat and ppl getting banned for it they had to make it where you have to flag for pvp
But i do like the gameplay - dark souls style - and it’s not a pay monthly game means i prob play it especial the way 9.1 is looking
Ashes of creation is the game i def wont play not ever gonna trust a company charging 500$ or more for there packs game looks pretty but that’s about it to me

Also the only WoW killer will likely be Blizz themselves.

I dont think it’ll be a “wow killer” I dont even think that’s their goal.
A proper “wow killer” would need an answer to both competitive raiding and mythic+ and do them better (which i dont think would be hard honestly. blizzard’s restrictive design on raiding is silly and their support for m+ is bad)
They would also have to handle developer communication better, which again isnt hard. Literally just communicate at all and you win.
That being said, I played new world in the alpha test and it was an incredible amount of fun. I’m looking forward to it. Wow has been booty cheeks the last few expansions and a new MMO with different gameplay and new scenery is much welcome

If the gaming world goes into New world expecting it to be legendary and the mmo to smash all other mmo’s, it will most certainly NOT be a wow killer.
I knew when I read this what to expect from the rest of the post…

Nah… looks to realistic and the combat is stiff… main thing that makes WoW appealing is the art style and the fluid combat imo.

Thank you for actually playing each of these games. It’s apparent in your perspective because i played all of these games to their “endgame” and you’re on the money with everything said. So often do people just chirp what they think people are supposed to say about x game.
As a side note Warhammer also died because world pvp = top tier rage
top tier rage = quit.
