New Tier Set Models for 11.1

This is what stood out to me. It just seems weird, like they are from some side story and not the raid lol

I think dipping into class fantasy is better than being thematic to the raid. I hated most of the tier sets from Vault of the Incarnates for this reason. But I liked many from Amirdrassil because they looked like something I’d identify with the respective class.

Because when Blizzard makes sets following the theme of the raid, many players complains, cause they always want it to be class themed.

Yeah I scrolled through those with lots of excitement and then got to shamans and was like, “Oh. Ok then.”

It’s not bad. But it’s very much just there. A solid participation trophy.

Its just wickedly obvious at how dull it is compared to the others. Like damn

The silver lining though could be that the set itself seems like it will look good with hidden shoulders and belt. So you can have a cool Kalec look in visage form but then just a neat and tidy barbershop set as a dracthyr.

Who even wants that? Why would you ever want that? Blizzard makes tier sets based on class appearances and not on the raid theme. They did the raid theme thing in BFA and Shadowlands and the sets were horrible. I am glad they went back making class theme sets because raid theme are often horrible. The new sets are nice, especially the Druid one. I wouldn’t even bother getting the sets if they were goblin themed.

Definitely among the best ones. Druid is my favorite though and I don’t even play it.

Holy crap. No dead animal skull on my head! This and selectable pet specs? It’s been a good day.

I don’t really have that impression, but it’s all subjective anyway. I don’t really like the warlock one f.ex.

Rogue one is combat themed… So not really fitting for the class only a spec.

Hunter… I dont know what its going for but it doesn’t scream hunter for me just dont get the hood helms not my favorite style.

Monk looks like vageta in a dragon mask.

Warlock looks cool as usual.

The quest, dungeon, etc gear is that theme

I do.

Because it’s different than what we normally get, and I’ve always liked steampunk stuff.

I get that not everyone likes that aesthetic. I certainly haven’t liked every tier set they’ve released. That’s why it’s great that transmog is a thing - if you don’t like the tier set you can change the appearance. Not every set has to be something you like.

And that’s why it’s not goblin themed. Gladly.

FINALLY!!! After 12 years of waiting. Finally they made a ice set for mages. :sob: :sob: :sob:

All these years, they only made Arcane and Fire themed sets. I don’t understand why it toke so long for an Ice one. But finally it’s here and is amazing. The mythic variation looks like Vyranoth.

I like 80% of the new sets, but I do have to say… what is with Blizzard and the drape around the legs? It’s cool and I love it but think we are going to overuse it.

Rogues always seem to end up with one of the coolest looks.

I found it way too simple, the DF S3 one is still better Imo, TWW S1 one as well. But it’s not bad by any means.
