Well I would prefer a more unique approach with while Mind Bender is active, your mind spells are enhanced in a way from a more utility perspective than raw damage.
Or you can have a mixture of both.
For example…
If Mind Sear were to return, it could return in its pre 10.0 state where it no longer cost insanity but it’s base damage is pretty lackluster. However, you can add a massive damage increase to it but only while Mind Bender is active.
So this solves the problem of Mind Sear being OP without a resource cost or a cool down on the spell it self restriction to make it actually useful without clunky gameplay attached to it while also allowing the usability of it outside Mind Bender.
Then you can possibly allow the Mind Bender spawns from Voidweaver to trigger the enhanced spells via the Y’Sharrj talent.
Or just go back to my previous ideas that I’ve listed multiple times where each Mind Spell does something more while Mind Bender is active.
Either way, the current iteration of Y’Sharrj is severely lackluster and leaves a lot to to desire.
