they canât just pop out servers cuz someone wants one. they have to have demand.
rp does not have the demand, these 2 new servers will have more by tomorrow than the 2 rp ones(the only ones not high).

What are you talking about? each LAYER has more players on it than ANY vanilla wow server did. and there will be MULTIPLE layers per realm. ALL of these servers will be high pop when layers go away. they even said the MEDIUm servers have way more players than were ever on vanilla servers. Literally all these servers will be packed with long q times when layers go away

I agree. Russia got the best name with Chromie. Pagle is decent, but the rest arenât that great imo. Not sure why they gave the best name to Russia⊠HmâŠ

Seriously?!? More PVP but no PVE realms. Blizzard would do better to have too many realms and merge later than to have to make more because of login problems and overpopulation. Im really not looking forward to overcrowdimg and zone sharding.

Who picks these names? Sticking with Herod for the time being. Who knows maybe the next new servers will be getting more exciting names. It might sound silly to some but it is what it is.

There is no sharding.
Blizzard SPECIFICALLY wants to avoid merging servers. like, that is the very last thing they want to do. They are doing EVERYTHING they can to make sure that doesnt have to happen

They should stop releasing servers (for pvp at least) its enough. A lot of people will leave during the first week, so donât go overboard with extra servers.

I think theyâre worried about ending up with a couple of very low population servers, but I donât think itâs that big of a problem. Some people might want a more Vanilla experience with less crowded servers after the layer merge at the end of phase 1, and that way they would have an option. If they keep filling servers like this and a huge amount of players donât end up quitting before the layering merge, there will be no place for people who want non-packed areas like most of the old areas tended to be.
I also have a feeling the game will keep the same amount of players or possibly grow instead of losing most of the players like many seem to think. I know itâs not a popular opinion, but I really think the enjoyment and word of mouth will pull in quite a few players just like the original did. Not to the same extent of course, but still.
