If you want to unlock the allied races, you just have to do some quests. If you can’t even do that, then you really don’t deserve to play them. I mean really, it’s not even that difficult of a concept to follow. At least now you don’t have to do a rep grind before you can start the quest chains.

They are painful without flying, to move around the terrain. Thats why I won’t get kul.

I found the Nightborne to be the hardest to unlock. the questchain for the achievement is just annoying and boring.

The answer to that question is quite literally in the post you replied to.
Just wanted to putter around and look at the new-old content on a new character now I’m finding out that in order to play one those races that I bought BFA for I have to navigate a maze of stuff.
Just trying to find this tinkmaster overspark in Boralus and I can’t even do that.
This so obtuse.
And the requirements for the other races I suppose are just as bad. Kul Tiras requires loremaster? I hate this what a waste of 60 bucks.
Why do we need to do that? Why is that a requirement outside of pettiness?
Just found out you have to complete a crap ton of other quests to level to 120 and finish all these zones to unlock the 15 quest questline for mechagnome. Jesus Christ Blizz f me

They’ve been known for quite some time, so I’m not sure how it caught you by surprise.
Pre-patch actually made it easier, removed the rep gate from the process.
Yeah I bought BFA and quit the moment I learned about the rep requirements
I came back b/c they said it was unlocked.
Yeah tricked me into buying BFA then resubbing so that’s twice.

You need to see how these races joined their respective factions. It’s not even remotely difficult, so suck it up cupcake and just get on with it.
Either that or stick with the races you have unlocked already and leave the others locked.

Yea I was working on Kul Tiran (which is really the only race I have left to unlock that I want) and it’s a pain. I’m really not interested in doing dungeons to unlock them either. 
They never said that. What they said is that the rep requirement was going away. That you wouldn’t need to grind to exalted to unlock the races. But Blizzard made it very clear, from the moment they announced the change, that you’d still need to do the quests to enable the unlock scenario, and then you’d have to complete that.
Easy or not, it is still an arbitrary gate for no reason.
