New Race/Class combos for Shadowlands (Suggestions Thread)

I still want to see a worgen shaman, that’s all

Blood elf druids
Human druids

I would like to suggest with the new zone some up to date race class combinations!

I really hope blizzard considers adding them to shadowlands as it would dramatically improve the alt experience (maybe convince some race changes as well : p)

Orc- deserves priests come on. Shadow council, shadow priests, etc…

Undead - Paladin - if we get calia, lightforged customization and undead paladins would greatly be appreciated
-shaman - the shamans in Naxxramas were cool, so are the kultiran tidesages. They were recruited and should now be playable.

  • Druid The risen kultiran druids. They would be perfect for the new fae zone.

Tauren - Rogues, tauren have been pirates since Classic. Grimtotem also have them they should be included if we get grim totem customization

  • Mages Fire and frost mages just make sense. If kultiran can get them so can Tauren

-Troll - Paladins cause free thinkers and Zandalari. This one can actually have the holy raptor. Just different builds to work off not to mention the other tribes that joined because of the zandalari.

Blood Elf- Shamans as elementalists. Being with the horde they should really master there elemental magics and control. Not to mention wand totems like in wrath/ MoP (sentry wards)

  • Druids as botanists. This might not be immediate but if we do get class skins botanists would do well for adding many other races as a type of arcane druid.

Goblin- Monk. Goblins are very prominent in Brewmaster it is a shame they can not be brewmasters or mistweavers (They could have water sprinklers lol)

Nightborne - shamans/druids (see blood elves)

Highmountain - priests/paladins (sunwalkers), Rogue (pirate/scouts), Mage/warlock (feltotem customization)

Mag’har - Warlock (black rock warlocks still had black skin), (Druid later)

Zandalari - warlock/ demonhunter (they deserve all the classes tbh)

Humans - Druids/shaman - because the model of kultirans use them

Dwarf - Druid - wildhammer customization. They have druids in them!!!

Night Elf - Paladin because LEgion, Shaman (if we get a battle mage class skin for shaman/later ),

Gnome - shaman cause sand gnomes, paladins through connection with dwarves

Dranei - Rogues (rangari duh) , Warlock would be dope,

Worgen - SHaman cause of that shaman worgen in the island, they are also Vrykul descendent. Monk cause they should use claws in combat, Paladin cause Vrykul origin.

Pandaren - warlock cause we got the curious ones, Druid would be ideal with celestial forms – rediscovering Ursoc/Ursol

Void Elf - (botanist/druids and batttle mage/shaman as class skins down the line)

LFD - Rogue (rangari), Shaman , monk.

DI - Firelands druids would be cool

Kultiran - warlock paladin from learning in stormwind.

I hope blizzard considers adding these. I believe it is an ideal time with the new starting zone and a few lines of texts. It would be greatly appreciated by many members of the community and help drive new alts!

The race/class combos I’m hoping for in Shadowlands are:
Vulpera hunter
Vulpera mage
Vulpera monk
Vulpera priest
Vulpera rogue
Vulpera shaman
Vulpera warlock
Vulpera warrior

Fingers crossed!

Making Draeneis and Blood Elves for neutral race like Pandarens while giving them accessibility to be paladins, warlocks with specific class restricted skin colors and eyes/faces.

Worgen, Goblin and Lightforged Monks - Come on Blizzard, it’s more than time.
Pandaren Druids.
Night Elf Warlocks - Hear me out, it sounds weird and out of place, but the Highborne from Shendralar (which joined the Night Elves in cata) kept a giant Demon inside their city for thousands of years. The lore is here, if Nightborne can be Warlocks, so do Shendralar Highborne, which are playable under the Night Elf race.

The next aren’t a class+race combo, but rather a facion+race combo.

Blood Elves and Draenei Neutral Races like Pandaren. Update their starting areas, give them new lore and direction, Alliance Blood Elves with High Elf customization and Horde Draenei with Eredar customization.

To add to your Highmountain Tauren/Tauren charade, I’d like to add in Highmountain/Bloodhoof Tauren Mages, as well!

I agree with your very last statement! Blizzard should hire you! I want an Eredar Warlock on Horde, so much!

OMG this! A nice two-in-one combination fix! Alliance can have their High Elves (or Blood Elves, if preferred). Blood Elves get the missing classes. Draenei gets expanded on, and the requested playable Eredar become a reality for the faction it would fit better with. And to make it possible, remake their starter zones to enable flight! Yes, Yes, YES!

Vulpera druids please! That would make me so happy!

I believe in true race/class equality. (most of) These races have been working together long enough to have groups that pick up tricks from the other races, and expanding on your people’s strengths is nine times out of ten a good idea.
Alliance:
Humans- Have spent plenty of time with dwarves and night elves, they could probably pick up druidism and shamanism, if not from help from gilneans and kul-tirans
Dwarves- Wildhammer would probably be willing to pick up druidism if they dont already.
Night elves: There is already a night elf paladin, plus the idea of being a moon paladin just sounds fun. Working with the elements through shamanism might also help prevent another fire attack on hyjal. As for warlock, i can see why they dont have it, but the powers of the fel are tempting and they have access to demon hunters as living proof ofthat.
Gnomes-They live with the dwarves, them picking up shamanism and the way of the light isnt far fetched. As for druid, -power ranger zord theme-
Draenei- While you could make a case as for why they wouldnt be warlocks, the eredar do still exist and no longer have their master to follow. They can either fade into irrelivancy or join with their living members. As for rogue, hooves might not be great for stealth, but hiding in plain sight is a legitimate stealth type. Druids- they work with the night elves to at least some degree.
Worgen: Monks for obvious reasons. Shaman could maybe work, though they’d likely need to learn it from a neutral group, like the earthen ring. And paladins, while some can argue that being a cursed beast would make it impossible to be accepted by the light, gilneans still practice the light and with the change to the system have no reason to be excluded from working alongside and possibly as paladins.
Pandaren- The pandarens we play are are very curious and adventerous, surely there would be some that would go into paladin warlock and druidism.
Horde: Orcs- DOnt really have a strong case for paladin or priests, but every class can be a priest accept for orcs, and if they did pick up priesthood at all they would probably start with paladin. Druid, more of the same, they been around tauren and, since cataclysm, troll druids.
Undead- The most famous Lorderon character was a paladin before his downfall and these people still practice the light. Especially with the new lightbound undead, it could happen, granted those would be more allied with the alliance than the horde if anything. Druid and shaman, more of the same with the caveat that the undead are a bit more reclusive than other races.
Tauren- Rogues, see draenei segment. Mage and warlock, fel has corrupted tauren before, and their druidic rivals, the night elves, have taken up mage studies. Nothing really keeping tauren, or any race for that matter, from being mages.
Trolls- Troll paladins already exist, and i doubt zandalari are against teaching the ways of Rezan to the lesser tribes.
Blood elf (and by extension nightborne) -druids and shamans. I think they are a bit too uptight as a people to actually take on these primal forms of magic. However, they are rather creative, so perhaps a form of arcane mimicry. Self polymorph into beast forms. replicate shamanism through magical might, that sort of thing.
Goblin- monks druid and paladin. I dont think goblins are too picky about what professions they get into, and often get in over their heads. Kung-fu actor, knight impostor, and closet furry all go a bit too far and get involved with the real deal.
Not really gonna go through allied races since this is already really long.
However, demon hunter. I still think this class was kind of a mistake, but it is a fun class to play. And for f***s sake, they trained a murloc to be a demon hunter, im pretty sure they could train anyone.

I too, would love Blood Elf Druids! We need a Thalassian Elf model that can be Druid, and Blood Elf fits the theme!

I would only be okay with Night Elf Paladins is they take the time to actually give them the proper Elune aesthetics and spell effects. Otherwise that is lame and whitewashing more Night Elf lore.

Orc Demon Hunters

On a distant legion world, a tribe of orcs, long ensalved and tortured, enact their plan to overthrow their demonic overseers.
Breaking the mental sway the legion holds on them by sheer determination and strength of will; an orcish spirit is determined to be free but true freedom eludes them for the demonic influence will never fully abate. They will forever feel its tug at the corner of their minds, only their unbridled aggression is its reprieve.
With the newfound freedom comes a new purpose, no longer slaves, they have vowed to hunt down every demon across all realities, never again shall orcs be dominated or their spirits cowed.

I would love a silver option for paladin’s light effects, not necessarily just for night elf paladins, but yeah. Plus with the legion order halls there is an actual night elf paladin. No reason why she cant take more priests of elune and train them.

Blood elf druid

  1. Human druids and shamans, Kul’tiran humans can do it so biologically there is nothing stopping them and who is to say other races haven’t taught them already?
  2. Dwarf druids, wildhammer are basically apart of the customization options so it makes sense.
  3. Draenei warlock, man’ari can do it and ya know we gotta get them red skin tones somehow.
  4. Worgen & Goblin monks, why is this not a thing yet?

At this point I can’t be bothered explaining anything and just gonna list them because I want them but they still make sense.

Pandaren druid.
Void elf Paladin, Demon hunter & Druid.
Lightforged Draenei, Shaman, Demon hunter & Monk.
Kul’Tiran Human, paladin & warlock.
Mechagnome druid.
Orc druid (also give me red skin tones for this one as well).
Troll, paladin.
Blood elf, druid.
Nightborne, demon hunter & druid.
Highmountain tauren, paladin,
Mag’har orc, druid (maybe demon hunter as well so its even with alliance and horde?).
Zandalari troll, warlock.
Vulpera, druid.

Please elaborate :slightly_smiling_face:.

It could very well be explained through their cyborieness, obviously not a classical nature like druid. Rather than transforming into a cat, a mechanical beast similar to how hunters can also tame mechanical pets. Using their powers as a cyborg to mimic druid like abilties but with magic (they can be mages). Or maybe I am wrong and they could just be a druid like any other, they have mastered the elements by being a mage, they basically already have nature like powers through being a monk, none the less if a normal kul’tiran human is able to master druidism then anyone could if they put their mind to it.

Have you seen Mechagon though? That industrial site which polutes a whole pond and there’s no trees or grass at all, there’s only one area that has a forest (if you could call it a forest) and it’s still being cut down.

Now imagine letting those “natural lovers” go into the Emerald Dream and what they will do to pollute that sacred ground.

Mage and shaman is a different thing though, and also mage has nothing to do with druid, both has very different school of magic.

I don’t think monks and druids are the same thing either.

No offense but, have you ever played any of those classes?

Edit: Yeah your achievement says that you’ve only played hunter and monk, never mind, ignore me and have a nice day.
