My argument is that I would have liked HONESTY, and simply admitted, “Yes, I would like a deity figure as significant as Elune is in canon”
But that was always denied, although it was obvious.
In itself, it is not a problem for me to support such a “True Deity” in principle, I see good reasons for it, but I would like at least an honest discussion.
My problem became later when with An’She they started to take things away from Elune. I thought that was going too far again, e.g. An’She as a very emotional god as a distance to the distant deity that Elune represents, as the creator of the Nether and fel…I honestly thought that was a really cool idea.

Which most people did NOT do… Blood moons for example were witnessed first in-game with the Jungle Trolls and their Hakkar Loa. And were seen once again in Tanaan Jungle with the Bleeding Hollow Clan (and last time I saw the faction with playable Jungle Trolls and Orcs IS the Horde). That´s why Baal tried to put them under An´she´s domain, cause originally THESE were ICONIC to Horde lore AND visual themes. Literally we haven´t EVER seen a blood red moon related to the Night Elves.
Heck, the thread was even about moving the regular HUMAN originated -and boring AF- “Light Worship” of the Belves into the worship of an actual chaotic solar based deity (yes, one noticeably MORE chaotic than Elune cause guess what? That´s thye BIGGEST difference between Alliance races and Horde races: the first ones are more lawful in their portrayal while the second ones are more chaotic in their portrayal).
So especifically, what was what “took from Elune”? No seriously cause I don´t remember moonfires nor making people into stars not any other Elune esque shows of power that people were demanding to be given to An´she too.
Literally nothing I suggested was taking anything from Elune and giving it to An’she. Not one singular power did I suggest removing from Elune’s list of crap and giving it to An’she.
??? I said that reveal Naaru were a joint creation of An’she and Elune, working together, because Sun and Moon producing Magical Light Crystals would be a cool narrative.

I who am currently of the opinion that Elune is an Eternal One of the Pantheon of Death would prefer the Naaru be Elune’s gift to Anshe who would be of the Pantheon of Light ruling a Light Realm mirroring Elune’s Death Realm like how Ardenweald mirrors the Emerald Dream.
I don’t think Mal’ganis will be an ally but the mention of Renathal and atonement does actually allow Blizzard a pathway to making Mal’ganis an ally of sorts for the future.
And I just find that darkly hilarious, regardless of the low chances of it happening.
