Speaking as someone on the heavily Alliance server, it can be a pain to tag normal mobs at times if you’re the underdog faction on your server. That said though, the important mobs, like rares and such, are all able to be tagged by both factions.
As people have mentioned as well, the sharding might be a bit better on normal servers too. I’m on a RP server, and I think our rules are a little different.
