New player looking for a home

Hello all!

As the title says I am a new player to WoW and looking for a place to call home at the moment. The character I’m currently playing on is a Destruction Warlock, but I’ve been considering rolling a Frost DK. Mainly looking for a guild that can help introduce me to more of the game and possibly get into Mythic+, PvP or Raids. I really like the idea of PvP and Mythic+ but have 0 experience in either. My other interest in getting into mount farming. If anyone has anything available for someone like me, please let me know. I play 3/4 days a week at the moment since I’m currently working overnights but on my days off I tend to play any time after 7:30 CST/CDT for awhile.

I’m the guild leader for Sleeping Mischiefs. We are a fairly active guild. With a nice balance mix of people who do m+'s and random other activities. A lot of the members are always willing to take people into mythics and help teach. At some point here in the near future, we do plan on getting some raid groups together.

It is a primarily EST guild, but we have people from all over and definitely on at different times.

Our current information:

We’re, as the name implies, an East Coast-based guild. Though newly made, we are a group of experienced members and are working towards building a fun, casual community while also having options for our members to push for things like AOTC and KSH.

We welcome everyone from all walks of life. Wanna raid? Run keys? Do social events? Just chill and talk with others? Want to be apart of a community for when player housing and Neighborhoods come around? Then we’d be a perfect fit for you!

Raid Info:

  • Raid times are 9pm - 12am EST Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • Current needs: DPS and Healers
  • Current Progress: 8/8 Normal, 7/8 Heroic

M+ Info

  • Mondays are our dedicated day, but we do them all the time outside of other events, and we’re looking for all, regardless of experience level!

Social

  • In-game events on Wednesdays from 9pm - 12am (might change depending on when might be a better time for most)
  • Discord movie night / hang outs on Fridays from 9pm - 12am (might change depending on when might be a better time for most)
  • Planning on building a fun Neighborhood community for the guild when player housing comes out

Hey Ardiann, you might be interested in checking out our guild, The Last Prophecy. I’ll give you a gist on what we have to offer:

  • Raid teams for every difficulty
  • Multiple M+ teams as well (running a variety of key levels)
  • A socially active guild (mainly through Discord, required)

Hiya,

NA Cross-faction, Murloc Dance Party We are recruiting new players, returning players, casual players, and players interested in learning raids and mythics in a low pressure and fun environment. We don’t require specific roles or specs, bring whatever you like. We are very lax with ilvl reqs and don’t require any previous raid experience. Attendance isn’t mandatory, just show up when you can. Life happens, sometimes you can’t make it. You’ll always have a raid invite.

Our raids are casual and beginner friendly, Learning Raids are slower paced raids that focus on players learning mechanics without the fear of being called out or removed from the raid. Mistakes happen and are okay, everyone is learning the content. Fights are always explained and questions are always welcome. Everyone is welcome to join our raids. Raid has a hard cut off of 2 hours.

Raids are held on Wed & Sat @ 7 PM CT

Some of our other activities:

Mythics- Slower pace if needed, we don’t care about the timer. Completion is the goal. Many members love running mythics and will group up frequently. Runs are always very chill and relaxed. The guild has a mix of low key runners and those interested in higher keys as well. Groups can be formed in our Disc. Particular interest in mythic + for later in the night groups. Night owls welcome :slight_smile:

We also want to focus on more casual and fun content outside of raiding and gear grinding:

Delves- We love to group up for delves, it’s more fun in a group. People are always willing to join or help out with a delve.

Mogs/Achieves- We like to collect all the things too!

Guild Neighborhood/housing- We plan on having an active and fun neighborhood, it’s one of the features the GM’s are incredibly excited about. And will be working with everyone to ensure we have an amazing and fun neighborhood.

Activities outside of WoW:

Guild movie & Game night- Movies held once a month, at the end of the month and decided on polls. We usually put up 3-4 different movie picks from different genres, our July movie was “Mars Attacks!” August was “Super Troopers”. We sometimes will have an impromptu movie night with a shorter poll. For games we are looking to organize some other games outside of WoW such as L4D nights and trying out Jack Box games.
