Anyone think the price of those new pets from the Rift vendors is a bit dang high…they are almost same cost of a mount …they want 2750 Paracausal Flakes for each new pet and so far I seen 3 new ones…the mounts are 3,000…I got lucky yesterday on my first Rift run to get one of the mounts …

IIRC, the Time Rift pets were even more expensive when first released on the PTR. So I’m glad they’re now sub-3k Flakes each, otherwise oof x_x
IMO farming for these pets wouldn’t feel as bad if the events actually played out properly and the lag was addressed. Right now it’s just kind of a mess and painful to get through the 3 - 4 Rifts to earn enough to buy one pet.

That one boss on the boat I got messed over with couldn’t find the jet pack to get over so I lost out on that boss …they should of made it where the jet pack appears on your screen to click when there is a mass of 200+ players all standing on it trying to get it.

Any chance those pets drop in the boxes we get…I got one of the mounts to drop yesterday from the first Rift event I did…so can the pets drop too?
Yes. You can get them to drop from their corresponding Rift boss, the purple box from the pre-boss event, from the vendor, or they’re cageable so from the AH, too.

I got lucky this morning on my HM druid…she got the Obsidian Warwhelp to drop off the boss this morning time when I took her into the Rift, figured I go ahead get her 3,000 of those things now for the Horde mount and get that out of the way.

I felt the exact same way OP!
Once they fix the weekly quest being bugged for alts it should make things alot easier.
I haven’t even tried the Rifts yet but overall I feel that Blizzard is turning what use to be a relaxing, enjoyable, and adorable pastime (pet battles & collecting) into a major PITA and slog. Such a shame they need to go and ruin the last aspect of the game that’s been my only source of enjoyment.
