New patch tomorrow, yet there's still hate about it

Basically this, also is it more weird that people have criticism of WoW or that someone hyper focuses on people who have criticism of WoW. Like if WoW is so fun for you and so great what is it to you others have criticism? I wouldn’t have noted it if I didn’t see behavior in other threads with peoples valid criticisms on customization and or making of other threads in this nature but yeah I find that more odd.

Ah that’s right, ending the war campaign. Still content, albeit pretty light.

I play Sub. So. Doesn’t help.

Also, super loose meaning on “Fantastic” for raiding there.

The rating requirements on gear has been a net negative experience for everyone. And in addition to that the grand canyon sized honor grind gap between level 1 of honor gear and the 197 honor gear is only eclipsed by the maw sized power gap between Conquest gear and honor gear this season.

No one wants to return to corrupted gear, we can look further back than BFA to find pvp gear systems that worked just fine. Most people will point to WoD as their preferred system. I personally was okay with the template system used in Legion.

Ooo, also asked for Ret nerf and it’s included, lol. Sorry, had to say it.

On a serious note, at the very least the dev are pretty in touch with the changes. Seemingly they are more receptive given the changes. I think people have said that normally there’s not that many mid season changes but here we are, with mid season changes and even other avenues to gear.

Gold is gold for WoW tokens (if you pay WoW through tokens), I thought this was fine.

The change to the raid loot row isn’t really an improvement at all, and misses the issues with the great vault and raiding.

There are 3 primary issues:

  1. For Mythic teams, since only 20 people can come in on any fight, but every team must have more than 20 people, there’s juggling involved in order to open up boxes. At certain stages in progression you need to whip out a spreadsheet and plot out exactly who is coming in on which bosses in advance in order to unlock their first or second box. It’s annoying.
  2. During progression, if you’re extending, nobody on the team gets any boxes at all. Compared to M+ where, if you’re pushing keys, you unlock the row, and in PvP, if you’re aiming for higher rating, you unlock the row. In raiding, when you’re pushing progression, you get nothing. I really don’t know what the solution here could be, but this is an area where raiders in particular get the short end of the stick.
  3. Unlocking additional raid boxes for raiding gets progressively harder, whereas for the other two rows it’s just more of the same. Unlock the first M+ box, do a 14 key. Unlock the second box… yeah, 3 more 14 keys. Unlock the third box? Six more 14 keys. They don’t become harder. The raid boxes, on the other hand, become MUCH harder as you try to unlock additional boxes.

“Have to kill Denathrius” isn’t part of the equation. He’s a total non-issue.

How many people do you think are unlocking that 7/10 Mythic box every week, compared to that 4 x 14 keys box, every week? The raiding requirements are completely out of whack compared to the other rows, especially on Mythic.

Gee, I wonder why people don’t like this patch.

You research people’s posts to see if they have merit. Let me know if you need backup. I would like to do this with you in an effort to expose all Meritless Posts in the forums.
Thank You

Some covvy ability adjustments are not necessarily the correct solution for some more than others. Like Shackle the Unworthy buff still has glaring issues of taking an RNG to spread it. >_>

Death’s Due buffed by halving amount of GCD it takes to reach its maximum efficiency. Guess what, 2h Frost is still garbage for Night Fae Dks.

Bandaid fixes all over the place in my eyes. Hey, at least Valor is something.

Rogues are getting huge buffs tomorrow to venthyr/necro. Assasination getting big QoL buffs and big leggo buffs.

What more could you want?

Only got the Rhinestone Sunglasses opened for transmog but literally no other glasses.
Goggles don’t count, I don’t want to be shoehorned into Engineering if I want to look geeky.

No updates to Pet battles
No updates to fishing
No updates to cooking
No updates to how awesome and smexy I am

Goggles is basically an engineering thing I mean it makes sense the goggles are tied to engineering

I’m a Night Fae Sub Rogue.

So.

As I said.

Meaningful changes for me, my class (Spec if you demand to split those hairs), or my raiding guild.

Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t get glasses. NPCs in-game even have them.

Incoming changes are welcomed, but class balance wasn’t addressed, once again.

I mean, I play a Meta Class, and I am unaffected… in fact Ret got buffed.
So did Fire Mages (LOL), and Arms Warriors (MEGALOL).

Nothing was done to address dramatically underperforming specs. That brings people down.

All I am saying is Blizzard should stop saying don’t play the Meta… if they tune for a Meta.

For a “tuning” patch, there really isn’t a whole lot of tuning happening where it needs to.
