As nice as a read as that was, DANG… I really want that Ana skin now.
Shhh… The Warcraft daddies don’t like it when we bring this up.

Since EA and Activision control all of mainstream gaming, anything without loot boxes is a waste of time now.
What has our world become.
C A P I T A L I S M
I can already hear the straight76 shippers screaming.
nooooooooo
Personally I was rooting for a gay daddy Reinhardt but I’m happy with this too.
Echelon
Y’know?
Would it really matter though? I mean yeah, I’m all for adding more gay characters and stuff, but in terms of the story it uh… wouldn’t really do anything?
I mean, when it comes to WoW a characters relationship with a person only helps to further a plot, nothing more than that. All surface level type stuff.
Example. “Help, they’ve kidnapped/killed my ________ , please help me save/avenge him/her/it.” It wouldn’t really add anything to a character because we never see them in their personal lives within the game. ANd well if that characters defining feature is that they like the same sex, then they are a bad written character.
It’s not about making them more interesting. It’s more just making them relatable. Characters come in all kinds of creeds and shapes and sizes. I’m not part of the LGBT community, but I assume it would be nice to have a character relatable on that level.
So is his tactical visor sort of like gaydar?
You mean Echelon’s?
“I’ve got you in my sights… hot stuff.”
Well that was random.
I was on hold for customer service in trying to buy some computer parts, I was browsing the Overwatch forums for gits and shiggles.
I had to point the phone away from me and burst out laughing when I came across a thread with this title and post -
NEW SOLDIER: 76 ULTIMATE VOICE LINE SUGGESTION:
‘‘I’ve got gay rights’’
Says a man who speaks in mostly contextless, incomplete sentences >.>
I assume you don’t know what identity politics is then.
If this could not devolve into a slap fight thread, that’d be great. Just sayin.
That’s a poor assumption.
Identity politics is when certain people’s identities are politicized, so others can then try to marginalize them and claim it’s “just politics” and not an attack motivated by bigotry.
100% of the time when somebody complains about “identity politics” they’re the ones doing it.
My confusion didn’t stem from the meaning of the term. More just… why someone screamed it, ran away, and then got hostile when asked “What did you mean by that?”
